Super clean, friendly staff

Perfect location and breakfast was good. Staff at breakfast were great Such poor value for what it is. Great location and good breakfast but not once did the receptionist address us or even look at us when we would pass by. Very tiny room and sheets and bedding are very thin and poor quality/old. So very disappointing- please look elsewhere when there are SO MANY places to stay for this price. It was also so very very loud, from the noises at night, bars, street, parties and also the staff in the morning. Walks are thin! We stayed at another place our last few nights and it was exceptional in every way.

Very well localized Bed sheets and towels dirty, although we told the front desk on the first day nothing changed during the next days. Change of sheets still with stains. Excessive noise at night (late night) from the terrace-bar. Is understandable as there are bars and parties around the hotel but it would be good to disclose this on the description, mainly for families. Lack of professionalism from the front desk.

It was horribly noisy from 10 pm to 2 pm with pounding music from a club so loud that our wall were literally shaking! The hotel is mostly outdoor corridors so the sound travels. Then the hotel decided to do renovations starting at 8 am - it sounded like a dentist was drilling in our room!

We had some issues with the hot water, just took some time to get hot but it still worked. It was also a little loud u til about 10:30 each night from the music at the rooftop restaurant nearby.

I like the supportive staff. I want to early check-in but because the room is not available then help us to keep my language. and while check-out also helps to keep the language in a safe place. Breakfast is a very limited and fixed option. If you don't like you have to order from the menu.

The position is the only advantage. The window was communicating with the corridor and therefore we had no natural light coming in if we wanted to have privacy. The noise from outside corridor and bar upstairs was terrible and we could not sleep well.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, they moved our reservation one night as we had a major situation on the highway and could not arrive on the first day when we planned to arrive. We were very grateful for the hotel’s flexibility and not charging for the date change. The hotel is in the heart of Oaxaca city, one block from the cathedral. Rooms are comfortable, pleasant although most have windows to the central patio / corridors. Hence, the drapes always have to be pulled in. The central patio is very pleasant as well. The noise from the neighboring two bars can be disturbing but it winds down after midnight. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is pleasant, however, it could be greatly improved if the coffee was good brewed (not soluble) in a city which pride’s itself for great coffee. (Tip: the restaurant Pan:AM at the corner offers great coffee and patsy and many other even vegan dishes upon request).

the rooms were ugly, no windows, no rug at all anywhere in the room. lighting was horrible. one morning at 7:00am we experienced a lot of noise from staff dragging furniture in an upper floor. a room with some kind of view.

Clean, nice bathroom, bathrobes, good location, relatively quiet, but potential for noise because there was only one big window that gave onto the hall/patio and if anyone was there talking ityou could hear everything. no outside window. everyone could look straight into all the rooms from the inside hall. No table or chairs in the rooms. No place to sit but the beds.

The overall staff were great. I ended up having breakfast elsewhere because there are so many terrific options close by - especially for good coffee. A warning about the live music and the hour it would stop.

The staff was friendly and nice. Great location! Everything is walking distance and if you don’t want to walk then getting a taxi was no problem. Breakfast was decent. The room we got was smaller than I expected, especially the bathroom. The stairs to get to the top floors are very steep so watch your step! We got a room on the second floor, and apparently there is a rooftop restaurant/ bar. There was music playing until 2-3 o’clock in the morning. So if you want peace and quiet for the night then I would recommend bottom floor, opposite side from the roof top bar.

Fantastic location and delicious breakfast.

The location was great, walking distance to everything. The room was simple but clean and had everything we needed. The staff at breakfast were lovely. We usually aren’t light sleepers but the walls were paper thin so you could literally hear everything from the hallway and surrounding bars.

Location, staff and cleanliness were top notch. We really appreciated the rooftop terrace and the included breakfast. It was a little noisy from the rooftop bar but that closed at midnight so it was ultimately not a big deal
