Great location near Zócalo Furnishings were old and towels need replacing. Breakfast starts at 8:30, late if you have full day plans

Our stay at Hotel Casa Cid de León was one of the best parts of our trip to Oaxaca city, which was a wonderful trip overall! Hotel Casa Cid de León was like having the home and family I've always wanted :) Such perfect and generous care, in every way. Rosa's breakfasts were delicious local cuisine, the terrace views heavenly, the architecture stunning. I hope to be back!

Two blocks to el centro; surrounded by fabulous restaurants and walking distance 3-4 blocks to artisan central. Friendly, helpful staff m, clean and comfortable rooms, great view from the third floor balcony
-
Uniquely decorated. Sweet dog. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location. Room often smelled musty due to poor ventilation.
-
Excellent location, staff and breakfast. The room didn't have a lot of room for storage, no headboard on bed and lighting not great.

We loved Casa Cid de Leon. The location was perfect - walking distance to everything - museums, wonderful restaurants and the zocalo. We were taking a week-long Spanish class and knew we would want a room that was more spacious than one with just a bed. Our room was very large and didn’t feel cramped at all. The furnishings were comfortable and interesting. We had a huge TV. Breakfast was provided on the rooftop terrace right outside. And as others have said, the house dog - Winnie - was adorable! There is no elevator and we definitely got our exercise going to the 3rd floor!

Great location, wonderful and very accommodating staff. Decor wasn’t modern

Location is amazing. Right in the heart of the city The staff is so attentive and personable. Really made us feel welcome. Really outdated and funky decor. Weird layout with low ceilings. Not great for us tall people. The two bedroom units share a bath but one person will need to walk through other bedroom to get to it.

The staff was amazing I got very sick and they were extremely accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and the location is excellent right in the center.

We had a great stay at Casa Cid de León. It felt like home, and the staff was extremely attentive. Would highly recommend!
-
I guess the only thing that I didn't like was that the morning coffee was really weak and with all the choices of good coffee's in the area I expected more
-
Convenient location, very friendly and helpful staff that will help you with whatever you may need such as transport, tours and restaurant recommendations.
-
Eclectic with lots of art. Very comfortable bed and sofas.
-
Location & staff Steep stairs up 3 floors to our room

The hotel has a Spanish style feel to it. Each room is unique, charming, and very comfortable. We made full use of the terrace. Diego, bartender, was a star with his awesome drinks. The ladies preparing our delicious meals and desserts were very welcoming and most attentive to our requests. The hotel is centrally located. Easy walk to just about every tourist location. Good restaurants in the area.

Staff is supurb. You could not ask for more. The rooms are full of antiques and history they love to share. Pride in their job and hotel are evident. Location was a stones throw from the Zocalo where there were lots of pepole, colors, venders, entertainers, music and restaurants. Room had no window that felt somewhat odd, but it would not stop me from staying there again.
