Great location, comfortable beds, kind staff, great water pressure and hot water too! Club a few doors down was loud on Sat night, but nothing too bad. All other nights were quiet.

The room was lovely, spacious with a courtyard. The bedsheets were so soft and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. Overall this was a perfect space to relax in. It is also very central. The noise from nearby restaurants and events.

Everything was great!
-
Very close to the main square where all the festivities happen The walls seemed a little thin. Noise late at night from the hallway was a small problem

Quaint boutique hotel in the centre of the historical district with really friendly and useful staff.

Location is perfect! So close to Zócalo square, where the excitement and buzz is. The room is very clean, access is smooth. Two coffee shops right across the road and next door to get a morning bite to eat. 10-15mins walking radius of the markets, Barrio Jalatlaco, churches, squares, museums and pretty much all the important spots. Information for taxis and tours were very clear and easy to communicate and access. Airport taxi service took us right to the door. Everything was on WhatsApp chat and communication was very responsive.

We stayed in the hotel for a week and only used the room cleaning service twice before check-out, but the house clean didn't clean very well; they didn't change the hand towels and bath rug. There was still lots of dust on the floor; hopefully, they can improve it in the future.

Excellent location, and excellent communications. Casa Olie is a self-check-in operation so almost all of our contact with our host, who was always responsive and helpful, was through WhatsApp. There was someone on staff in the lobby in the evening who graciously arranged for us a taxi to the airport for the following morning. Our room did not have bedside lighting, only overhead - would have been nice for reading before bed. Otherwise, room was clean and efficient.

Location, close to the Zocalo plaza First of all, they offered early check in at 7 am on arrival day but there was no water, water was restored at 2:30pm so the check in amounted to just leaving the luggage in the room. On the evening of the last day the water pump broke again and service was restored the next day at the time we were leaving for the airport. The other guests were not happy at all at not being able to take showers after enjoying Oaxaca on a hot day. But the main problem is that the manager is an absentee landlord who only answers WhatsApp messages during business hours 9am to 5pm and ignores you when problems arise at night such as the water pump not working so you’re on your own. I would not recommend this place at all
