The lack of plugs in the bedroom

I’ve stayed here for many years and have always enjoyed it. I love the vintage feel of the hotel and how close it is to the pier. The man who helps run the elevator is always super friendly and helpful. One day they were short on housekeepers so our room didn’t get done, however, they did get us clean towels and empty our trash for us.

Probably in the best location on the boardwalk. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were nice. The balcony was spectacular. Parking was convenient as well which was important for us. The lobby was nice as well. It would have been nice to use the elevator ourselves since we went up to our room often but the staff was still always willing to help.

Location is wonderful. Staff is friendly and very helpful. It has a quaint old fashioned feel that makes Ocean City special to visit. The flowers on the property were beautiful and gave the hotel a welcoming feel. It was very clean too. The Ocean Front views from our top room were gorgeous! Need an elevator that does not need an attendant. Need access to the boardwalk from the balcony.

Loved the history and the feel of the place. Super great location for the car show and good view for the parade No complaints

Clean and convenient to everything on the boardwalk

I love the history of the motel and how they try to keep it as authentic as possible. I would love to see if there’s any way to deter the birds from the deck area. Or at least pressure washing the deck area and chairs so you’re not sitting in poop or being covered in it if you get too close to the railing.

No real elevator. They did offer a staff elevator but we had to go to the office every time.

Clean hotel and room. Location and friendly staff

It was a non smoking room but as soon as you stepped into hallway you smelled cigarettes from the balcony and as you passed threw I couldn't enjoy the wonderful view from balcony so many people smoking and the bins for the cigarettes smelled as well

Wasn't informed where to wash sand off from the beach. The courtyard only had access points from the side roads, also very dirty with trash. The steps were very tasking trying to carry beach gear to the beach, and it didn't seem like the staff wanted to work the elevator. That should be upgraded. Also the parking lot was disgusting with trash. When you pay for peak season prices you expect a little more.

The property reminds me of a boutique. The lobby is adorable. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The elevator is almost always broken. They saw I have a handicap and immediately gave me a lower level.
