Rideau Oceanfront Motel

Staff were super friendly, my friend absolutely loved the room, plenty of space for our stuff. Our room was in the back, not ocean front, no deck, but the accessibility to the boardwalk was great! We had a safe and fun time!

Just need more cleaning on the floor. When I checked in,my room is still full of sand.

The location is perfect for those who enjoy the boardwalk. This location is perfect! We booked last minute and our room was comfortable. It faced the other building. This place is perfect for families as it is walking distance to all of the attractions at the south end of the boardwalk. The room was dated--we really didn't mind. We spent two days at the pool because of the jellyfish in the ocean,

Staff is friendly and clean room

Hotel was just ok. Room was not clean and housekeeping never came to see if we needed towels or check on us. You have to make your own bed, which is ok, but someone should tell you. Location was great but it's just a place to sleep.

Loved this place! We picked a pool view room just so we wouldn't hear the noise of the boardwalk, and it was perfect. Very clean and new. GREAT pool. Perfect location on the boardwalk to walk either way. And plenty of parking. I would 100% come back next year

Room was very nice, 2 kings and room for 2 more, very spacious, double sinks, 1st street, nice pool.

Charming hotel . The OG owners were Tony Russo and his wife Trudy.(Tony's Pizza est. 1962). Check out some of the interesting history of the boardwalk when you come here. His daughter, who was working at the front desk, was still carrying on some of the best traditions of Ocean City. Conveniently located near tons of shops, restaurants, Jolly Roger's Pier, and the inlet. Rooms were spacious. I'd recommend getting a balcony, if you are a people watcher or love a good sunrise.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rideau Motor Inn! It was our first time in OCMD and the location was absolutely perfect, with great access to the beach and boardwalk right from the property. The pool was a great size and open from 10-10 and was great for a nice swim after the beach. The room was very spacious and the air made the room nice and cool. Our room had two queen beds, which was perfect for our group of three, and could definitely accommodate four adults (and maybe young children too, with a cot or pack and play). We also enjoyed the discounts to local businesses like Love's Lemonade and Wackenfuss Candy just by presenting the room key. Finally, the front office staff was very quick to accommodate when we needed extra towels, and even brought them right up to our room. Overall we had an awesome stay and would highly recommend Rideau for the great location and friendly service

I RESERVED A POOL SIDE ROOM AND THEY STUCK ME BEHIND THE ELEVATOR AND STAIR SHAFT. MY VIEW WAS NOTHING AND MY OUTSIDE SEATING WAS NON-EXISTENT AND WORSE OFF NO CHAIRS AT MY DOOR. THIS WAS A RIP OFF

Rideau is conveniently on the Boardwalk. It is an older facility but clean and comfortable. My initial room was on the parking lot side with no view. After a few nights I asked the front desk if any ocean front rooms were available. The owner of the hotel bent over backwards to rearrange and upgrade the upcoming reservations to accommodate my request. Her goal is to have happy customers. She’s renovating something every year. It won’t be long and this hotel will be completely upgraded. The oceanfront room was a breath of fresh air. However, it is noisier at night from Boardwalk musicians.

Clean, very nice staff. Loved it

The place was really good for the rate. I stayed for 2 night it was more to change clothes and sleep. We were out all the time. The motel has a pool not big. The most I like it was that the boardwalk/beach was just right there that was awesome. So if is place just to put your stuff and spend most of the time out is fine. But to to enjoy the motel amenities I wouldn’t recommend.

Rooms clean, ladies in office were great!

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Rideau. The place and the pool were very clean and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Great place to stay, highly recommend.

I can't think of anything for the price it was great.

I love the convenience of the Rideau. I use a scooter so it makes it easier. I have no complaints
