Carousel Resort Hotel & Condominiums

We stayed in a room with an ocean view. It was lovely to see the sunrise and sunset. The room was spacious with a large kitchenette area. The location is a good one as it’s easily accessible to Fenwyck Island, Bethany Beach and Ocean City. The only issue was the Internet was not working consistently and was slow.

There’s nothing to complain about. I would recommend this hotel

My only negative interaction was at the reef restaurant. However, I think they are separate from the hotel. If you have a thick accent get ready for rude service.

Everything is so convenient. The restaurant was great. It definitely needs some updating. Our bathtub had a rubber stopper for goodness sakes.

Very good

The best place on the beach for families. So many activities for the kids, yet still relaxing for parents. Clean, short walk to the beach, plenty of parking, good food, relaxing dining, gift shop, 2 game rooms, coffee, tea and snack food available in atrium, comfortable seating areas. . . music and events. Just our favorite place to go with the kids. . . and we've stayed at a lot of places in OC. This is the one!

Check in was unorganized, we arrived at 2pm, were told that check in is at 4pm. When we came at 4 they said the room is not ready and the check in at 4 is not guaranteed and we need to wait for a text message. we came back at 5:30pm message still didn’t came. Another associate told us that our room was ready a while ago….

Its closeness to the beach The elevator was not working from Monday when i arrived till Thursday when i left. Hospitality didn’t refresh condiments in room 2 days in a row. I was on the 5th floor i’m 73 and it was exhausting for me climbing the stairs. If i had been informed of the elevator being out of order i probably requested being moved. I expected a discounted charge for the inconvenience

Truly a family hotel with an 'indoor ice rink"!! Tons of amenities like pools, eateries on site, on beach access, clean rooms. I could go on and on.

Stayed with 6 kids. Lots to do. Great location. We all loved ice skating, the pool and the beach. Our room keys stopped working at least twice per day, but the staff worked quickly to fix it. The place is VERY out dated. Our tub had rust all over the floor. Other than that, we had a great time. It’s great for a family with kids. The food and alcohol was very expensive at the pool bar, but tasty.

1st-false advertisement by expedia. The only oceanfront option shows a nice photo of the beach and balcony overlooking it. There are no other oceanfront options so why wouldn't you think this is what you are getting? Arrive to find we are "ocean patio" which just faces the ocean but is completely blocked by the pool/sand dunes. We had 2 rooms-1 directly in front of the towel stand so people there able to look right into our room and the 2nd next to it had a people lined up in chairs in front of it each day. There was NO view of the ocean and we couldn't even sit out there. Also had to keep curtains closed for privacy. Upon check-in there was "nothing they could do because we used expedia" and the hotel claimed they falsely advertise combining 3 types of oceanfront rooms into one. 2nd-I was physically there at 10am requesting early checkin every hour. Never granted it but others who arrived early got in early because their rooms were ready. Why couldn't I be given a ready room first instead of assigned a room and stuck with it? 3rd-staff were rude. 4th-we had room 158 & 159. The door in the hallway between the 2 loudly squeaked with every open and close!! So frustrating and woke us up many times. 5th-dead zone for cell service. Our phones went into SOS the minute we hit our rooms. We spent an hour on the phone with ATT only to find it was just the hotel. The second we left the grounds phones worked. Only positive thing I have to say is the convenience of food and fun for kids.

Good stay

Great stay!! Property is great for families with kids. They need to get the kitchen together so many ppl either returned there meals or walked out during breakfast. We sent our food back and then left.. besides that it was a great trip.
