Commander Beach House Hotel

We visit ocean city MD every year and thought to try this hotel. This was the first time we were asked to pay for parking. Was not happy about that as a guest! The room was not clean. The floor was very dirty and sheets had some stains. Pull out sofa had no sheets! Air conditioning and refrigerator was noisy! Sleeping wasn’t so pleasant! Outdoor pool open late and closed early. Was unable to do my aquatic exercise. Kids was unhappy about pool closed at 7pm during nice sunny weather!!

The cafe above hotel is amazing and super conveient with fractured prune as well.

The location itself was conveniently located and you do get to use the main hotel amenities. We would stay here again. The price and location make up for most inconveniances.

Booked three rooms and all were very clean! Convenient location. Beach & boardwalk are an easy walk just across the street.

Clean room and outdoor pool. The staff was very pleasant.

The air conditioner was not clean and dusty!

Our room was extremely dirty, the bathroom had no trash can, there was no where to put your things once you were in the bathroom. Long black hairs everywhere all over the sink and toilet. Our refrigerator smelled bad, bottles underneath the bed. Stains on sheets.

The staff were near impossible to find. Very loud. Fighting in the middle of the night. Rooms were not very clean at all. If you want something you have to ask because there's no room service.

I was traveling with three disabled people. We were only going down for the day. We weren’t even going to stay over. We just needed a place to rest and change. Check in wasn’t til 4pm. We got there at 1:30pm and our room was ready. We were able to rest a little after the ride and use the pool. The room was clean. Shereka checked us in and was very informative, and very helpful.

Everything was nice except the toilet didn’t work too well

They charged for parking. That’s something that should be informed when booking a stay. Staff looked scared when they had to informed me I had to pay for parking. The parking was very small parking stops I had to park across the street from where I was staying in order to make sure my car wasn’t going to get him by another car. I also had to pay another 20 fee incase there was some damage to the room. There was no elevator where I stayed. My room was very clean but the hallway had trash bags with trash and dirty towels on the floor. Air Conditioners was very very loud every time it turned on it maid a loud very loud sound jump scared you from a deep sleep.

I won't be returning to this hotel. The room didn't even have a window that we could look out. The air conditioner was very loud, too. The floors were covered in sand from previous occupants and one of the beds had sand in the sheets before the bed was used. We love Ocean City but this trip wasn't a favorite.

even though the room was on the smaller side, it was perfect for our over night stay. We were able to use our own streaming service on the tv, which was pretty cool. Property was nice, clean and presentable. Staff was very friendly and even let us check in a little before check in time. Would stay here again!

Parking was horribly tight, room and bathroom were very small. Overall pretty clean. We had outside door entrance, no lighting, very difficult to see at night especially if raining. Walls super thin. Unfortunately had a joint door to the room next door. Could hear everything, sadly they were extremely loud, could smell the extra curricular activities they took part in. Cute place, close to the beach, but most likely won’t stay there again. Sadly a bit disappointed.

Didn't like that you have to pay a daily parking fee on top of your room rate. We stayed at the commander beach house across the street. Too much card swiping to enter before your room. Should offer at least coffee in lobby area, its a wasted space. Or put table and chairs inside space to play gamesvor something. It was ok, won't stay there again. Had better options. Only one smoke butt can available. Not enough. More small tables out on porch with chairs needed Alot of wasted space Continuous wet mopping lobby and hall way floors not needed They were always mopping when it wasn't dirty at all hours. Nice size bathroom Roo a little small but ok Very average
