La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocean City

I have to say it was ok trip but I heard about it. I wanna go try it out, but I regret going at that hotel the room was not too clean. The staff was OK but it was a poor service can you believe we have to take broom and sweep that room?

unfortunately the room was absolutely filthy. the white curtains are black from dragging on the dirty floor. the dirt is packed in the creases of the wood floor and it’s obvious they aren’t mopping the floors properly. we wore flip flops in the room the whole time because our feet were getting so filthy. and the humidity is so extreme in the room that it causes mold and staining all over the ceiling and walls. even the pictures on the wall have mold spots inside the frame. we woke up feeling damp every morning due to the moisture in the room. on the flip side we brought it to the attention of the front desk and they were very helpful. we were able to get a partial refund.

accommodating. My check in was at 4, I arrived at 445, room wasn't ready until about 530. The room was delayed due to being cleaned. My family of 5 wanted to shower immediately after coming from the water park but there was only one towel and cloth. We called front desk, they advised laundry was being done and that it may take awhile. We waited 2 hours for towels and clothes, by then we washed with her hands. There was no soap in the dispenser, thankfully we had our own. We also had to wait additional time for sheets for the pullout couch.The curtains had stains that looked like blood on it and the chair on the balcony was broken. I almost hurt myself. They said the room was cleaned but there were strands of white hair on the bedding and someone's hair tie still behind the bed. The microwave door was broken but they probably didnt notice. You can tell they were short staffed and overwhelmed as business was booming. Management was very nice and made sure my family was taken care of. Though it wasn't perfect, I would return because nothing is perfect and management and the gentleman at the front desk were awesome. Affordable and right across the street from jolly Roger's. Ill be back and hopefully things are better.

Arrival, the room looked clean. But I always clean my rooms when I come into any hotel. The room was not actually clean and the floors were extremely dirty. On the third day we had the maid come in and clean. She literally came, got the trash, made the bed, sweeper and left. She did not mop and she did not clean the bathroom. The pool was only 3 feet. And the free breakfast was really continental. Other than them not cleaning the rooms properly, overall they are in a great location to everything and only a block away from the beach which was a plus.

I liked the location of the property. Things I did not like.. When we arrived at 8pm they assigned us to a dirty room. We needed to wait with 3 kids for them to tidy up. Our room smelled like dog pee the entire time. We complained multiple times regarding the smell. The AC didn’t work very well. Asked for a fan and they could not provide one. Coming back from the beach they didn’t have a working hose to clean off. The pool was very small area and was gross with cigarettes in. Also the WiFi could only be access if you were a reward member.

Some staff members show incredibly hospitality, but some seem like they could use a course in customer service, meaning, there is a nice way to te someone you can accommodate their request without coming off hostile or standoffish. Second trip back I would come again.

Close proximity to beach and other attractions with restaurant attached! Floors very dirty in rooms and out. Pillows need replaced, they’re flat and small squares.

No coffee for coffee maker. The only thing the folks at the desk could do was apologize. No way to help anyone, no supplies available. Stay elsewhere, I’m sure they will answer with the set response. Please don’t bother. Find a job where you can do your job. The owner ob doesn’t care.

Good value. Clean and safe. The pool is only 3ft at the deepest. The bar and restaurant are adjacent and easily accessed but took forever to get a drink since it operates more as a standalone establishment. Good location. Balconies are ridiculous and on top of each other. There are no views here so don’t expect any. Ok for the $
