Good location: between the railway station and the castle. The bathroom is roomier than most of the other Toyoko Inns, which is very comfortable, and there is a support bar at the tub which you appreciate as you get older. Many Toyoko Inns' bathrooms haven't got it. From my room one can see the castle. A bit pricy for a Toyoko Inn, but considering the good points you can't complain.

The beds are very stiff. Like sleeping on a piece of wood. Maybe it's more common in Japan but I'm not really used to it and I can't say it felt comfortable. I haven't experienced it in other inexpensive hotels either.

Great breakfast for lovers of breakfast in Japan, with different choices daily. Great hotel in a great location in a great city. Good beds, room for luggage under the bed. Coin laundry was easy and inexpensive. Easy luggage storage. Staff was fabulous at check in and with forwarding suitcase at end of stay. Sounds of neighbor’s room came right through the wall each day until late at night.

The mattress of the bed was really hard and uncomfortable.

The location was near the Odawara Station and within distance of the Castle. The checkin process was not easy and staff wasn’t helpful. Breakfast was chaotic with not enough space to sit. There were barely any food left half an hour before ending time.

Terrific location in heart of odawara station. Many food options around. Breakfast included free We only had a smoking room available. The bathrooms are pretty small with toilet shower and sink all combined.

Close to the train station and the castle, and a short walk to the beach. A large room with a big window, a big desk, a good-sized refrigerator, and space under the bed for luggage. A good-sized bathtub and a blow dryer built into the toilet. Good breakfast, with some different foods each day. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast area is too small for a hotel with around 300 rooms. It’s too late to expand it now, but if they extended the breakfast hours from the current 6:30 to 9:00 to 6:00 to 10:00 that would probably help cut down on the crowding.

I was surprised that the free breakfast was so nourishing and healthy! The employees who were working the breakfast area were busy cleaning, refilling food dishes, friendly and helpful! Nothing I didn't like. It was very close to Odawara Castle, and the train station which we used as a launching point for both Hakone and Tokyo area.

Near subway, train and Shikansen stations, Odawara Castle & shopping centre. Make commuting to other town a breeze. It is also very near Tokyo rent a car place. So, easy for us to return our car. Luggage drop: We can leave our luggages with the hotel before and after check in and check out. Making exploring the city a breeze. Breakfast: Spread is good and generous. They also provide you take away boxes if you prefer to eat in your room. Check in/ Check out: These process is a breeze too. Room is spacious. Will be better if they have a power points between the 2 twin beds. Overall, I find this hotel value for money and will recommend it for touring Odawara and Hakone. None

Good variety of food, but the flavor of many of the items was so so. I have stayed at the Toyoko Inn in Higashi Kurume and their breakfast is much better. The beds are very hard.

The location to the train station was excellent and appreciated the breakfast which was a welcome bonus. Nice to have an ice machine, as the weather was relatively hot and humid. Staff were helpful and obliging. The bathroom was dated, particularly the shower over the bathtub with minimal shower curtain - yet manageable.

The hotel's location is excellent for those renting a car. The rooms are spacious but the beds were not comfortable.
