A good location: close to odawara train station, odawara castle, and the beach On the first night, we found a cockroach on the elevator and another one in our bedroom.

Charming interior; excellent customer service; great location near bus and train stations.

The immediate surroundings felt a bit run down, and it was very difficult to find a place to park my bicycle. However, I learned to enjoy the charm of the locale.

Staff was kind and helpful. It's located in the middle of little streets with lots of restaurants, but wasn't noisy at all. Having lots of options to eat around was nice. Also a short walk away from touristic sightseeing like the Odawara Castle. This hotel feels like a renovated motel. Some things in the room might feel a little weird. It was quite cold by the window. Mattress and pillows were quite hard, I think it can be tough for some guests.

The old timey feel, friendly staff, and breakfast! A bit of mold/mildew on the shower curtains. And the TV/radio were a bit dated. Charming but not very usable. Couldn't cast our devices to the TV since it wasn't a smart TV.

Older hotel with a really nice early Showa vibe (I'll remember the room key for years.) Good room, comfy bed, friendly cool staff. I'll likely return when next in Odawara. No complaints. Seriously.

Its central location and its beautifully maintained vintage interiors. Right across the shinkansen station.

Friendly staff, have free simple breakfast, it’s very old but very nostalgic which I like. It’s surrounded with night life area, this place is good for adults and couples only, we have a hard time backing our car from that very tight street.

It’s on a cosy side street, where you get a taste of 1960s Japan. It is very unique, and it seems like it is from the Showa Era. The bathrooms need to be upgraded.
