Bourne Bed and Breakfast

This B & B is a small, family business - Tina (one of the owners) shared that she comes from a family that had been in hospitality for years prior to taking over this place - this was evident throughout our stay - when we arrived, we were a little bit early and there was Tina working hard, cleaning our room personally - Tina also took great pride in baking various items available in the afternoon for snacks - seems like it always smelled of freshly baked sweets in the parlor, cinnamon, etc. - and, with the coffee & tea bar, the effect was that you felt at home away from home - in the mornings, Tina would take your order for breakfast personally - loved the carefully prepared, Greek yogurt parfaits and fresh cut fruit which changed every day - our room was very quiet and the bed comfortable - and the location was perfect - as Tina advised on the first day, everything is just about a half mile away from this inn - easy walk to Marginal Way for sunrise to start the day or to Perkins Cove for fresh seafood in the evening - it is an absolute pleasure to write a review for such a wonderful place - haven't been able to do so for a long time now - this place is "TRULY REMARKABLE"... Struggling to find anything to complain about - which never happens - especially post COVID when the hospitality industry got turned upside down...

The Inn was perfect for our weekend visit. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were spacious and clean. Walking distance to downtown and Perkins Cove. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for a future visit.

Tina and Scott are wonderful hosts and run a beautiful and friendly B&B in the best of traditions! I had a very comfortable and well appointed room, that lacked for nothing. A full and delicious breakfast is included and served from 8am to 10am every morning. An easy walk into town, the Marginal Way, or the beach with no real need to use a car while staying here. A lovely front porch for relaxing or socializing with other guests, as well as peaceful gardens throughout the property. This house was a great find!

Exceptional

Love this place. Super clean and comfortable. Room was decorated perfectly and had everything you could need. So well thought out. Every bedroom had it's own bathroom. Ours had a refrigerator and a smart TV. Tina and Scott were very helpful and knowledgeable. Many choices for breakfast. Snacks during the day. Sometimes we had breakfast in the dining room and sometimes on the large covered porch. Location was perfect. Walking distance to Perkins Cove in one direction and Ogunquit shops in the other. Very close to Marginal Way access path. Perfect stay. We'll be back!

The hosts were warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless with a comfortable bed. The continental breakfast included delicious daily freshly baked goods. We loved the front porch for relaxing and the location perfect for a walk to Perkins cove, the marginal way or beaches and restaurants. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was so bright and airy. The bed was soft for our liking but the linens were very comfortable. Nice shower. Breakfast was homemade and delicious and the hosts were very kind and helpful. They allowed us to check in early as our room was ready. Location was great with a nice walk down to the beach and just a couple minute walk to Jonathan’s for buck a shuck oysters! Yum! Will definitely try to stay at this lovely inn again.

My favorite place I stayed for my entire trip around Maine. I didn't want to leave. My bedroom was fantastic and had a wonderful porch with a table and chairs I could sit out on in the morning, afternoon, and nighttime. The backyard was beautiful! My bed was very comfy as well. Shower pressure was fantastic! It was in a great location and I pretty much could walk to everything. I will be staying here again as soon as I am back in Maine.
