The hotel is a bit of a hike from Ogunquit, but only 10 minutes from the beach. There are trolleys to take you into Ogunquit or it’s a 10 minute drive. If you don’t need to be in the middle of the action and want a nice hotel with a lovely staff, book it!

Nice place

Check in was too slow even for patrons who had fully paid for their rooms.

The room was clean. However there were burn marks on the carpet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating

The staff was totally helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The distance from, and the proximity to, the center of town is perfect. And of course, the views.

This was our second stay here. It was fine with two annoying issues both related to the room location. First, there was a long outdoor staircase to reach the room on the back of the building. Half of the stairs were just concrete slabs set at a precarious angle. Those need to be replaced. Second, the room only had a sliding door as its entrance, no regular main door. It made privacy a bit of a pain.

It was amazing and peaceful!

It’s ok but more of a motel. The facility is old and dingy. They do what they can to keep it clean but there were bugs in some areas of the room. The toiletries were not refilled after we used them up. For $400+ per night, they should do better. Two out of 4 nights, we couldn’t watch tv or do anything that required internet. The food was not good (at breakfast) so we had to fend for ourselves. The staff was nice but they can only do so much. The place is old and is not worth the stay. We will not be staying there again.

Location was fine. Pillows too soft

Breakfast was decent

I would advise that you request a room with a view of the river. Unfortunately, we didn't do that and wound up in a room off the parking lot. The room was very basic and smelled of cleaning solution .

Great location, view of the river. Breakfast Great! Room super comfy.

The view of the Ogunquit river inlet from our room with balcony was just beautiful. We were delighted each day by the sunrise, bird life, changing tides and lovely skies. The lawn offers lounges, chairs, and a life-sized chess board. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful and hard working. The breakfast included both hot and cold dishes and many tasty extras. The pool and kayak rental are an added bonus. The location on the Ogunquit/Wells line is much preferred to the congested downtown area. Wonderful beaches and many restaurants are close by. We’ve been guests here many times and will be again!

The Staff 5Star and so helpful!! We were on lowest walk out floor. Not the best for us oldsters because several stairs on many levels, but the Staff gave us multiple golf cart rides up to our car and breakfast! Everyone so friendly, including Andy the kayaking Guy. Great place on saltwater for kayaking!!! Wonderful place and experience! (3 nights mid August 2026) Multiple stairs on most all levels, but Staff is fast for pickups!

This is not a property I could recommend for anyone. The bathroom and room did not have any place to hang clothes or towels! I found this extremely difficult especially on the OCEAN! I used the ironing board to hang our clothes from! The only 2 ice machines were on a different level and very far from our room. The pool was even worse. It was down a steep hill and the material surrounding the pool was extremely rough under the feet. In the back of the property there were many Canadian Geese (they are not friendly) and there was no fence to keep them out. So, they drove us out of the 2 chairs that were there and we had to avoid their feces which covered the lawn area. The breakfast was not very kid friendly or anyone with allergies.

Great hotel, excellent location with nice views. Hotel was very clean and well kept, only slight downside was pool was a bit underwhelming

Housekeeping visited our room which was great. They replenished towels and made our bed. A pleasant surprise as most hotels/motels do not offer this service daily. They also offer a continental breakfast and tea and coffee all day. The room was updated and clean with a second floor balcony overlooking the river. We asked for a late check out and for $30 we were able to check out two hours later which was so helpful. A great place to stay which was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back before winter.
