Terrace by the Sea

There's wasn't a microwave. Breakfast was high carb, high sugar. The food pyramid has changed. Healthy fats, less, GMO grain items and sugar.

Clean rooms, beautiful property, lovely view of ocean and was pleasantly surprised how quiet the rooms were. Never heard any other guests even though it was full. I really liked that a specific parking space went with the room. Would definitely return!

Some rooms have a beautiful view (ours didn't). Parking! (A rare commodity in Ogunquit. It's good to have a continental breakfast available (coffee, fruit, bagels, cereals and fruity yogurt. BUT a continental breakfast that doesn't have any protein isn't as helpful as it might be. Our room was adequate even though somewhat dated. The bed was comfortable and the linens were good. The bathroom towels were fluffy and plentiful. Our room was in a two story motel-style building and we were on the first floor. Noise from the room above was noticeable.

The staff was amazing! Not only were they welcoming and friendly, and all the things you want in a hotel, they helped out in other ways - they helped me find a store where I could get a flashlight for a hike, for example, and did so with a smile - it's wonderful when you have an unusual request like this and the staff steps up to help out! I plan to come back next year, and will be booking here again!

The location and views were amazing.

We thought we were getting a view of the sea. They put us in a handicap room but did change us after we complained. If you were able to get a room facing the water, it would have been great. However, the rooms were clean but haven't been updated for about 40 years. The cost was way more than we normally spend but we did it thinking we had a view.

Great location to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. Perfect spot for a vacation.

Terrace by the Sea is in a great location! Right in the middle of all the restaurants and shopping. The room was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable and the room met our needs. Although the beach is visible from some of the property, it's actually about a 5minute walk down Beach St. It wasn't a big deal for us, but it looks like it is accessible right from the Inn. All in all, we had a great 1 night stay. We were very pleased with the location!

Beautiful setting and close to downtown

Location is just amazing. Sit in adirondack chairs and watch the tide roll in and out or watch sunrise. Having breakfast overlooking the beach was a great way to start each day. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the location is perfect for those who like to be able to walk to the downtown area of Ogunquit for food, shopping and entertainment (don't miss the "Front Porch" piano bar) or to walk Marginal Way or the beach. Can't say enough about our stay and hope to visit again!

The only complaint I might have is that for those of us who eat breakfast late, they ran out of some fruit and pastries.

The hot is very dated, but well maintained. Comfy beds, nice staff, & great balcony - room 107.

The view is amazing! The location made it easy to move about town for food and shopping. Would definitely stay there again!
