Stunning views and right at the end of The Marginal Way

The room was clean and staff were great. My only complaint was that is not beach front and not a true ocean view. I had to walk about 1/2 mile to beach. Most hotels here are on rocky coasts. I our view was from a side porch a view of a small piece of ocean. I wanted to see the stars, but we had no control of the porch lights. The lights stayed on all night. I went there to see the meteor shower but the resort was too bright. I would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room.

Oceanfront room, on bottom level had great views but was damp with a cold floor-probably due to being somewhat of a basement level. Floors above might have been better in that regard

We loved our stay! Its location is excellent. Walking distance to beach, shops and beautiful marginal trail walk to Perkins cove. The hotel grounds were well manicured. Our only suggestion for our room is that it could stand to have a new mattress. There's too much wear with indentations. The two seater couch cushions kept sliding off, so a new and larger pull out couch and a few end tables next to the couch would be helpful. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay with its beautiful property and easy access to the town, shops, restaurants, and beaches.

We were so happy with our stay we asked at the front desk to stay one more night and got to stay in a room with a much closer oceanfront view. Which we are very much enjoying right now.
