Danae Suites Santorini

Very new, modern and well maintained. The pool bar view is a thing of other planet, seems we were in other planet. I must confess the top notch item was the hospitality and the caring that the whole staff had with us, they were completely lovely, specially Chris, Sera, Anna, Cristos and Kostas! We totally recommend and hope to come again

The room was wonderful- it had a sea view, there was a bottle of wine to welcome, a hot tub, beautiful amenities, bathrobes, etc- in other words a very high end stay which I thoroughly enjoyed. I used the hot-tub once and it was lovely- it was on the balcony and you could watch the stars and gaze over the sea and it was very, very private. I can imagine that it would be ideal for honeymooners. The fact that was breakfast was included and the price was reasonable made it a very enjoyable stay. I would stay here again, just in a different room, Room 15 had electricity poles and wire transmitters running right overhead. In a lot of countries you would not be able to build that close to them. I lay on the bed, savoring the beautiful room and after 30 min I felt I was quivering from inside my body. As an environmental specialist for over 25yrs I am always aware of electro-magnetic waves and in fact sometimes measure them with my instruments which I didn't have. I moved to the sofa and immediately the quivering (a kind of jumping in my skin) stopped. I have had that reaction before to high EMF. I asked to change the room but none was available so spent the nights (2) on the Sofa and that was fine but not preferable. The breakfast was good but not excellent, the service was very good, the location nice except while it says it is in OIA, it is really quite aways from the main areas in OIA overlooking the caldera--what you are looking at is the Aegean Sea-- I had no problems with that but you will need a car to get to the main places (8 min away drive) and thankfully I had rented a car. I would stay there again but a) with a car and b) a different room

The location was perfect — just a short walk from Oia, yet tucked away in the peaceful village of Finikia. It offered the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already dreaming of returning. The staff were exceptional — warm, kind, and always eager to help with anything we needed, from local recommendations to private transfers and car rentals. A big thank-you to Christian, Theodora, and Vasiliki for making our stay so special!

Exceptional place, from the facilities, service, to the beautifully structured and decorated suites. The staff at the reception was very welcoming from the moment we arrived, provided us with great recommendations, and answered all of our inquiries within minutes. The guys from the restaurant/pool bar provided a service with the highest attentiveness levels possible. The breakfast was superb, the best one we had amongst the five other hotels we visited during our three weeks holiday in Greece, and the pool was divine. We all highly enjoyed it, as a family with three kids. -

Amazing location with views out to sea. 10 minutes drive from Oia and 30 mins from the airport. Breakfast was lovely with a variety of egg dishes and amazing pancakes. Staff were second to none especially the bar staff. They couldnt do enough for anyone. Rooms were beautiful and cleaned every day to a high standard. Overall an amazing stay. Nothing to improve.

So we arrive to this beautiful hotel. We paid for the cave suite. But we actually extended our stay on the island for a couple days to check this place out. We arrived before the actual check-in time of 2 o’clock we got here around 12. We were granted access to our room, which was extremely nice. We were given a free bottle of white wine and a free bottle of water. The service at the front desk throughout our stay was outstanding. The staff were extremely kind. Theodora And Christian really are valuable members of the team! I felt like i was hanging out with friends when talking them. The infinity pool is top-tier. The water was not too hot or too cold and the view was immaculate from the pool. There were plenty sun-beds available for early July, which left me to be surprised. The location of the hotel is actually great. It’s not that far away from the madness of Oia, yet it’s so relaxing and chill. Inside the room it’s absolutely gorgeous, you really feel like you’re in a cave. The shower has the option of handheld and overhead. The pressure was great. I had hot water throughout the trip. I did not hear my neighbors one bit throughout the stay meaning the walls were thick enough to keep outside noise away. Transfer to and from the hotel is about 35-Euro minimum whether it will be to another nearby town or to the airport. The television takes time to load up when you turn it on to access the apps /information within the hotel. Breakfast is adequate. They have a selection of items, but the service is not the best at the breakfast location. At the pool, the bar makes spectacular drinks. However, the food menu leaves a lot to be desired as it is not adequate. The hotel should consider opening some type of mini mart as the nearest store is about a 15 minute uphill trek. Which could be quite difficult in the Greek Summers for somebody who is not physically fit or has health problems.

I loved everything about our stay at Danae Suites! The room was beautiful and comfortable, the property was gorgeous in an amazing location, the staff was friendly and easy to communicate with, and the complimentary breakfast was a bonus!! I will absolutely stay here again if we make it back to Santorini!! Everything was perfect!! It is a bit of a walk to Oia (the closest town) and mostly uphill, but it is doable!!

The hotel was really nice, with a comfortable room which was cleaned and left spotless every single day. There was also a wonderful pool facility with a stunning view. At Danae Suites the staff was always friendly and ready to help. However, the road leading to the hotel was challenging since it was narrow and steep. The breakfast menu had a limited amount of choices and with a staying of a week it caused a boring sensation when not having too many options to chose from.

The reception pool are and restaurant was perfect. Views over looking the sea and beautiful comfortable furniture to relax and est and drink on. Most importantly the hotel is not located in the bustle of everything so when you are there service is even more critical. The staff there was attentive, caring and on point every step of the way - from preparing breakfast, to providing towels, and to get us taxi service at all hours of the day. Their communication was timely and great. Just an overall great vibe at the hotel. Definitely recommend for couples looking for a romantic getaway

The property is in such a great location, and had everything you could possible need, the cave suites are stunning and very clean. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. The pool faces the sea. And the sun beds are lovely, breakfast was just what we needed too. The main part of oia is a lovely walks ways much we did daily. Nothing I would recommend staying here to anyone
