Mellow Luxury Cave

It was nice to be away from the crowds. The villa was spacious and view of the sea was beautiful. The private jacuzzi and outdoor space was nice. The shower area had what seems to be mold, ventilation could be better in the bathroom.

It is a beautiful villa in a great location. The only tiny issue was that the furniture outside was a bit worn and dirty, but it was the end of the season. I would definitely return.

Would have liked a pool

Beautiful place to watch the famous Oia Sunset. Very clean. Front desk very helpful! Eva and the luggage people were very nice! It’s about 1/2 hour walk to the tourist area. It’s not that I didn’t like it, I wish I would have realize it though. Wonderful if you’re energetic, you can easily ask for a taxi if you’re tired.

The breakfast is do it yourself but we requested for bacon, eggs and fresh bread they have given us?

The property is beautiful. It was really spacious for our family of 4 and we liked having our private outdoor area with mini spa. The rooms are serviced daily and the staff are so helpful. They give you a WhatsApp number on arrival and answer all questions so quickly. They even arranged to have balloons and cake for my partners birthday. Very personalized service. I highly recommend staying here We loved everything. It is a short walk into oia area, maybe 10 minutes

Perfect for two couples. The view was amazing and the patio overlooking the sea was very spacious. Hot tub a plus. The walkways were difficult for anyone not in great shape. Lots of stairs and uneven areas required us to always look down. Too easy to slip and fall.

They have sister hotel in the same place - I had to pick up the key from the reception area. What I liked is that they had bell service to take the luggage up and down the hill which is impossible to do without any help. Room Service It was a hike to come up and down the hill - where the car was parked. The reception folks take some time to respond back to your requests.

The property was unique and unlike any other accommodation we have had in other Greek locations. Usually we like something secluded and very private. This quaint cave was in the middle of a network of lanes which was a thoroughfare to the wonderful restaurants nearby. We began to enjoy the sounds of footsteps and voices as people meandered through. The staff were amazing, sorting out trips, printing boarding passes, booking taxi’s and recommending tavernas. We would highly recommend Meze Meze, the best by a country mile. We struggled a little with steps and distance to the accommodation it’s not for the faint hearted or anyone with a disability. My quads were al it more toned after the holiday than they were when we arrived.

Very comfortable beds and an amazing shower. Good daily cleaning. Jacuzzi extremely well maintained. A great spot from which to explore the island. It was't clear whether the food/drink we had could be replenished by the owners or not. We weren't sure whether a cleaner would come (although they were great when they did!). It would be helpful to have this information provided in the property, along with details of local buses. The location is challenging due to all the steps.

Actually a better location than chintzy touristy Oia. Quiet but with two very good restaurants and a taverna 50 metres away. Team managing it were very responsive on Whatsapp during stay booking cars for us for island excursions and portering our bags down the twisty stepped path from the hotel reception 5 minutes away. Plunge pool was fine to cool off, and when the kids wanted a bigger pool to play in we went to Laokasti Villas down the road for a small fee which included towels and drinks. I guess it must have been built/renovated 18 months or so ago and is still in great nick just like the photos, a true cave house with vaulted rendered ceilings, barely a straight line inside. We were there in July heat, it was cool and dark and had three aircon units, although because of the design we only needed to use some of the time. The patio outside has direct views of the sunset over the sea. Self service breakfast supplies of “toasty” ingredients, yoghurt, fruit, juices and cereals were fine. We augmented these from a fairly extensive grocery store 3 minutes walk away. The kids loved the friendly cats, me, a little more wary :-). We are fairly demanding of our accomodation quality and it easily met our expectations and was the best value for money of anywhere we stayed in Europe on this trip. There wasn’t much not to like. We could have done with a broom to sweep up food scraps between the daily cleans. We managed drying our hand washing on the outdoor furniture but a small line with pegs would also help.

There are two big and very comfortable rooms. Bathroom is great too and a small kitchen. The living room is very spacious. All very clean, well decorated and well kept. The outside area is equally big and very comfortable. The best is the outside heated pool/jacuzzi. The service was amazing.

The hotel feel is totally different than it feels in pictures. Don't keep too much excitement.

The location was great, short walk into town, surrender by great restaurants. The staff were amazing and very responsive to our requests.
