La Madeleine Oia Suites and Caves

The room was spacious and comfortable, the hot tub was a nice touch, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. The location provided easy access to the shops and restaurants in Oia while still feeling tucked away and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, provided helpful local tips, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. A true hidden gem, and I would gladly stay here again. The only minor issue was that the AC didn’t seem to be working properly on our last night, which made the room a bit warm. Other than that, our stay was excellent.

Location cleanliness and staff

Great location, amazing views within walking distance, friendly staff that organized everything. We got a complimentary upgrade to the suite with rooftop pool which was breathtaking! Requires a few stairs but still great!

Amazing location, friendly staff Nothing

Spacious and comfortable room with a wonderful private patio. Delicious and plentiful breakfast each morning. Location couldn’t be better, right in Oia but quiet and peaceful. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Great restaurants close by.

The location of this property is great, with everything accessible within a few minutes’ walk. The staff were very helpful and provided all the necessary support. We had a great time here.

Great location in Oia. Rooftop patio with private pool was very private and beautiful location to watch sunset. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. The only problem was our room had cracks in the wall that leaked water, maybe came from the air conditioner because it happened our first night and the rest of our stay we chose to not run the AC. The staff cleaned up the water and apologized well but not sure if the problem is fixed.

Location in Oia was great. Decor was upscale and appealing. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. Coffee and eggs were cold. Switched to frappe and enjoyed coffee more. The location is very difficult to find on your own. We arranged for pick up from the port but they thought we cancelled. We contacted them upon arrival in Santorini and were instructed to get a cab. We wandered around the pedestrian path until another La Madeleine guest approached us and told us how to get to reception. Unfortunately no one was there so we had to send a message via Whatsapp. If you use them for transportation, confirm a few times to ensure there is no miscommunication. The only window in our cave room opened to a busy pedestrian path so no privacy if you want natural sunlight.

The property was very well located. There was no windows in the room, so it made it very gloomy, but the room itself was actually very beautiful, but it’s sad that there was no windows. We weren’t told about the reception availability so we had an emergency and there was nowhere there. No one there to take for us to contact. The safety deposit marks is not as they said on their description. Basically it’s not bolted 20 walls or floor. Anybody can take it and we also had difficulties we weren’t able to open it and it happened to be our last day of our stay and we were very nervous because we had our passports and money in there And when the I’m thinking the owner of the hotel we have to emphasize the urgency and – – She wasn’t too happy. It’s unfortunate. She didn’t handle the situation very well, which made it very stressful.

Unreal breakfast. Sunbeds and private heated pool were literally perfect. Staff were nice, check-in process was very detailed providing numerous things to do. Sea-view is of north-coast. Location doesn't come up on google, took ages to find the place.

Stunning views and we were extremely impressed by the incredible service at La Madeleine. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Ismail who was sensational our entire stay and always went above and beyond. The La Madeleine team made us feel at home. The breakfast was also 10/10 and the rooms were gorgeous. Would highly recommend to anyone looking at staying in Oia.

The location was great. The suite was clean and comfortable with a view that is spectacular. The best thing though is the wonderful staff so kind and helpful. You won’t be disappointed. Not a thing.

The hotel is amazing, located in the most quiet yet central part of oia, the staff was amazing, the room pristine. Definitely a must.
