It’s packed with beds and no any spaces to walk enough. But it’s fair when I think of the price. Thank you:)

I found and reserved just a few hours before I arrived. The shower area was a little chilly in winter.
-
4 bed room had uncomfortable mattresses , 8 bed room was comfortable
-
Great vibe and decor In Bar area. Lovely staff. Super good. Very clean tatami mat room- huge and a lot of light . We stayed in largest room. Easily slept 4 Very steep steps to room
-
The had no ventilation at all and smelled terrible. The hanging out area was cool but it didn’t make up for the fear of what bit me right now. I’m going to have to do full bed bugs procedures.
-
It was a bit difficult to climb up to the top bunk bed. The stairs were also steep to get to the second floor.

Wonderfully kind staff. Washer and dryer!

The staff where extremely Wonderful & kind! They spoke quite a bit of english but even when a random foreigner was asking a million questions at the speed of light and they didn’t understand they where VERY patient & totally okay using good translate! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen area was very nice clean and very social which i enjoyed. Great location for day trips in the okayama region such as Bitchu Matsuyama castle or Kurashiki. Also perfect for exploring Okayama close to transit and easy to walk most place in the city. it is a little confusing when you arrive the hostel is actually off the side of the restaurant which is the check in area and if there isn’t enough staff the restaurant may not be open when it states online - so just make sure if you want to drop your luggage off earlier in the day you message them beforehand or you can try and get their attention by going around the side. they are very kind. the rooms are also very very cramped barley any room for luggage. One guy put his suitcase in a way we could barley open the door, I just slept with mine on the top bunk with me but if your someone larger or would not be confortabke with that just be warned you might have to have your things a bit away from your bed or get creative.

Pleasant enough - had basic facilities to accomodate my stay. Staff were friendly. A short walk from the station and from AEON mall. I'm pretty sure one of the shower doors was broken and couldn't close securely which meant there was only one shower available. Luckily, it wasn't busy while I stayed so I didn't have to wait. There's only small lockers to secure valuables but no storage area for luggage, I stored mine under my bed (bottom bunk) and the bed sheet covered all around the bed so was hidden which I felt was safe enough for me.

Very little space in the 8 bed dorm rooms, often large bags are left in the walkway within the room from people staying on the top bunk. The bar itsself is overpriced.

Kamp is located 10-min from the train and 30-min walk from the garden. The downstairs bar had s very hip vibe. The staff/owner? Was friendly and offers a welcome drink. Upstairs is a little tight, but clean. Shower was great and there is a lot of information about the area. It was quieter than what I was expecting but maybe only half the beds were full. I stayed in the 4-bed dorm. The lower bunk has a very low headspace even for a short person like myself so I could not even sit inside. The mattress was satisfactory, but not very comfortable. The room stayed cool-ish with a/c and a fan, but the communal spaces are quite warm (and it is not summer yet).

Staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend trying out their restaurant/cafe the food is delicious!

Stayed 2 nights in the lower bunk of an 8-person room on the 2nd floor of the annex. Good points... - Welcome drink. - Kitchen Other points... - Towels and amenities are charged. - 2 toilets, 2 showers, 2 sinks, 2 hairdryers on the 1st floor. - Safety box outside the room. - Small room. No space to put luggage. - Take off shoes at the entrance, but there is no shoe rack. - No common space (only one table next to kitchen). - Steep stairs, dangerous to carry large luggage (one female guest left her large suitcase in the kitchen on the 1st floor). - Staff explanations are insufficient and confusing (probably because they also work at a cafe, with few staff and seem busy).
-
Definitely a dorm with a musical vibe. It's run from a cafe that hosts live music every now and then. Was fortunate to be able to attend one of the live sessions on the Friday evening that I was there. Excellent setup, could tell that they are really one with music. Facilities were great with everything required if you need to prepare your own food.

Great place to stay in Okayama, staff is nice, food is good The kitchen is clean and the stairs are funny

Cheap laundry which was nice, although the dryer was slow. Luggage storage on check out day is weird as there is an hour between check out when the cafe opens to leave it, I just left it in the common space and had no issue. Close to train station.
