Very close to Okayama Castle and staff gave us a room with a view so we also saw castle lit up at night. Older property that showed age. No breakfast included in our rate or free drinks. No onsen

Central location, bountiful and taste breakfast; clean and comfortable rooms with seating. Nothing all good

The facilities were a little dated and old but did not feel dirty or unclean.

Location, cleanliness & staff Beds and pillows very hard. Not a comfortable sleep. Hotel claims parking available, but there is none on site. Expensive paid parking is however nearby.

The hotel was accessible from the station with a short street car ride (can be walked too, but we'd rather not with our luggage). We enjoyed the view from our room on the garden and the castle, very beautiful at night. The café was handy for breakfast. We did not use it for other meals. The garden and the castle were within walking distance as well as local eateries. Everything was fine.

The staff was very kind and trying their best to help me figuring out how to travel further. Coin washing machines and dryer are available. The Okayama castle and Park is super close. I would recommend to take a taxi from Okayama station. The bus system doesn't belong to JR and the suica card is not working. It were around 1200 yen

Quick and easy check in. Very efficient and pleasant. Outstanding view of castle and park. Easy fifteen minute direct walk to station. Five minute walk to shopping arcade.

Stayed for 2 nights. It was a very comfortable room. We possibly had the best room on the 10th floor with a great view of the castle and river The location is excellent to the garden and castle and q km from the train station. The buffet breakfast is also good. A All good

Proximity to castle and gardens. Comfortable bed. Sitting area in our room to watch TV. Small area outside of the bathroom with an extra wash basin, mirror and chair. Air conditioner blowing on me during the night. Hotel is a fair way from restaurants and shops.

Easy to get to from station. Nice location in leafy part of town. Close to beautiful garden and castle. Bathroom a bit tiny... but that's japan

The staff are really welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in Japan - loved the coffee. The rooms are spacious and it's close to street car/buses. There's a few restaurants nearby including a craft beer place. It is a little older so the bathroom is a bit weathered.

The view from our room looking out over the river and castle was absolutely beautiful and after sunset the castle is lit up with lights. What a treat. Easy walking to the beautiful Korakuen garden. The staff we friendly and welcoming, greeting us as we came and went from the hotel. The beds were comfy and the TV had many choices of viewing including YouTube etc - for free. The breakfast had a vast selection of tasty Japanese dishes as well as western choices and the espresso coffee machine made the best coffee we’ve had in Japan. Everything was great but we did have some problems controlling the air conditioner as we can’t read Japanese . An English instruction guide would be great.

We liked the location as it is near a tramline and restaurants and shopping are close by. It is very close to Okayama Castle and shops in that direction too. Breakfast was nice too! Staff very helpful. Price of accommodation was good. It is situated on a corner so need to unload around the back street and walk it around, but was fine, and there were public parking lots not far away so access was good during stay. The rooms step back in time, but not a deal breaker for the price and the bathrooms and bedding were fine. We took advantage of having a room each which is always welcome during a road trip!!
