Otters, otters, otters, some more otters, another abundance of otters, even more otters. Even though it had a lot of otters, I still think it could use even more otters.

I don’t understand how this hotel received such positive reviews. There were tiny flies jumping around the room, the bathroom, and on my bed, and there was even a big crack in the window seal just exposing the room to the outside. I had to use tape to cover the crack so that mosquitoes wouldn’t get in. The carpet was filthy, and the bed sheets were made of some unusual scratchy material. Dirt and grime were caked up on high-contact areas like light switches and elevator buttons. To me, the entire hotel utterly lacked a comfortable, relaxing feeling.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan—simply because the value is incredible. On top of the great price for a single room, they have too many added extras to list (but I’ll try): Free soda fountain drinks, free popsicles, free bread at breakfast (as much as you want), cheap frozen dishes, 10 yen Chip Star cans (Japan’s Pringles knock-off), and more. If you’re looking for value and comfort (especially during a solo trip) this hotel can’t be beat. Loved it. Nothing bad really. No microwave in the room but there are 2 in the lobby.

staff was really kind and willing to help my window headed to a busy noisy street at night. but that has nothing to do with the hotel. if you have trouble sleeping ask for a rear window.

Liked our 3 night stay. On the 8th floor. Bed reasonably comfortable. Staff helpful. Liked the breakfast idea and drinks. I would recommend. Nothing really.

The free buns in the morning and all day drinks. The staff were amazing, very attentive and spotless rooms. It’s great value for money. It won’t be everyone’s taste because of the decor but I found it fun and unique and represents Okayama well.

Roomie, clean, and a great location and some limited free snacks. I highly recommend, so it was easier look past the thin towels and our room had a weird smell so we picked up an air freshener.

Top Location close to the train station and castle. Free snacks and drinks. Very funny and quirky beaver theme. The bed was very uncomfortable - way too hard for our taste. The pillows are truly terrible. Also way too hard. It was quite noisy and cold due to the windows not being fully air tight. If you're OK with the bed, it's a nice hotel.
