We weren't told at check in that we had to ask for extra towels each day and to have our trash emptied. There's absolutely no place to store clothing... not a bureau or shelves. The bathroom is very tiny and there is no storage there as well. No shelves in the bathroom or in the shower. There is also no place to hang towels to dry. And we needed to hang them since we didn't get new ones each day. The motel has potential but you really need to update and make more storage for guests. Also please make sure to tell guests at check in that you need to ask for towels and to have your trash emptied.

The lady who checked us in was very nice and personable.....

The location was great! Except for the train whistle! The pool looked great but the water was cold. The covered porch was great! Small bathroom, didn't feel clean. Floor dirty (maybe old?). The cushions on the futon weren't comfortable. People were loud at night made it hard to sleep.

The location was ideal. Close enough to the pier, beach, main street and restaurants, but just far enough away to not hear the noise of the amusement park. Easy safe walk to all. Porch was a nice amenity, but without personality. Looked out over the parking lot.... still it was nice to be able to step out of the room and would be a real plus in a rainstorm.

It was close to the beach walking distance and everything you needed was in the location a 2 min walk away from food , liquor, snacks and gas ! The cramped bathroom is about it other than that no complaints!
-
Great location with lots to do nearby! Staff was very friendly and quick to resolve any problems and answer any questions we had. There isn’t a no smoking policy near the rooms and the air conditioning would push the smell of cigarettes and weed into the room.

The pool and the location Weed smell everywhere !! even from staff pool side on their “private” balcony

Quiet and clean and the staff was so friendly

The staff were very nice, check in was quick and easy. It was walking distance to the beach. Everything was conveniently there. The pool was great for my kids closed at 9pm and opened at 7am. The beds were comfortable. We had a porch area with alot of chairs It was a little outdated. The bathroom needs a little more up keep. And the kitchen area needed some upkeep as well

Convenient location, beautiful outdoor area, and comfortable and clean space to stay. Only one roll of toliet paper provided and only one coffee filter.

The location was very nice I didn’t like that there wasn’t a front desk that we had a ring a doorbell and wait for someone to come. They should have a Dropbox for the keys an offer more than two towels for the room.

I like it the way it is

The staff is excellent If you’re traveling with your family, be aware that the atmosphere may not be what you’re expecting. During our stay, we frequently heard adults using profanity while talking to their children and during phone conversations, even with families and young kids nearby. We also observed guests openly smoking marijuana outside their rooms in common areas where children and families were present. While others may not mind this, it made the environment feel less family-friendly than we had anticipated.

The smell of weed is so intense. It’s like you’re staying in an ashtray. The smell of smoke is imbedded in the walls and furniture.

Location was great. Kids like that were right next to park and short distance to beach. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was big. I like the the kit hen area had a freezer, hot plate and kitchenware. I wish the pool was heated it was just to cold to swim in on our visit. Bed wasn't that comfortable.

Liked and used the propane grills, picnic tables and grass area for dog duties. The covered deck was nice but not enough chairs and the room next door kept taking ours. Parking close to our room was great. The receptionist was extremely nice and pleasant. We felt safe and in a safe area. The walk to the downtown area was safe, easy and convenient. Seemed to be plenty of parking. The dinnerware was nice but we brought our own. We kept tripping on the legs of the bed frame because they stuck out, especially by the table. There was no shelves, counters, racks or anything in the bathroom to put things on. The sink and toilet weren't flat surfaces. Using the toilet and the mirror was a little tight. The floors in the whole room were sticky and filthy. The bottom of my feet were black and never walked barefoot in our room after the 1st night. My brand new, cream, shoes were quickly black. Everything we put on the table, stuck to the table. Ruined dad's cellphone case. The window in kitchen wouldn't open. 3 people, 5 nights and only 3 bath towels and 3 washcloths, had to keep asking the guys for more. Wanted to take a shower 1 night and no clean towels because we didn't know we had to go get them. Were never given hand towels or dish clothes until I asked for more towels in the office. Only 2 chairs and room for 2 at the table. A room with 2 beds is usually going to have 3+ guests. The bathroom/table/kitchen area was extremely cramped. Lots of time wasted waiting to get through or for a seat or to use the microwave etc. Nothing and nowhere to put our bags except on the filthy floor so they all ended up on half of 1 bed. The NOISE! Groups of people split in different rooms on opposite sides of ours, lead to multiple kids running up and down the deck screaming, chasing each other, stomping around starting at 6am. We had to ask parents to please stop them. We also had to ask guys on the deck, next to us, at 1AM, to please be quiet. We never got much sleep, especially because our door was warped or something and didn't close tight from the door handle up. The noise and the cold nights came right in. The TV was almost useless. Some nights It kept saying "please wait" but never gave us a picture, only sound. also stressed to "Gabby" that their lack of communication was unacceptable. Everything is through booking.
