La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Omaha West

When you enter your room at 10:30pm, you've been up since 4am, have had a traumatic experience, and you just need to utilize your room and other amenities seamlessly. Your hands are full, you catch the light switch with your elbow... and the light doesn't come on. Your last nerve was gone hours ago and tomorrow's are already looking to be stretched thin, but you've got to dip into them anyways. A call to the desk to hear "sometimes" they don't work and you're directed to find the switch on the floor lamp. Great, I now have some light, minimal... But I'm over it and go with it Until. You flip the switches on the ones beside and they don't work, either. Another call to the desk to be asked if I've tried the TV. Not sure what that's got to do with anything, but okay. Conveyed there's zero interest in TV and she brings a couple light bulbs. That don't fix the issue. I could wait for maintenance tomorrow (I'm here for a few days) or switch rooms. Opt to switch rooms and now another trip to the desk is requested to get a new key card. I just couldn't and when explained, she did go get it for me. Next day.... If you need a "room", then this is the place for you. The lobby looks shiny and new. The room was clean but falling apart. One entire wall had no working electrical. Electrical tape on the shower head to"fix" a leak. Mold on the shower ceiling. The other guests gave it more of a tenamant feel rather than a hotel.

Didn’t seem clean, even though decor and beds new, still felt very outdated. Bathroom door didn’t close, shades didn’t work properly. See above.

Good

Breakfast was terrible, same meal everyday ..eggs were runny and juice not the best Nothing works in this hotel , missing items in rooms , was asking g for iron for days and never received it...

Exceptional

Room was clean and spacious a gentleman was shampooing hallways and cleaning when I arrived which gave me the impression that try to keep the place well maintained! There was a couple little things in the bathroom that could use a little TLC showerhead was being held on by a hair tie and above the shower there a place where the ceiling could use some work but besides that it was good for what I needed!!

It was very clean and the staff was friendly There was hardly and breakfast. I got up right when it started and there wasn’t a lot to pick from.

The breakfast was good. Coffee in the rooms is not good. But the coffee at breakfast was good. We had to move rooms because the AC wasn't working. We had a queen bed but had to switch to 2 double beds. Then when a room with a queen became available the next day we switched again. The rooms were pretty clean. We didn't get offered a small refund for not having a queen bed the first night and having to switch rooms 2 times. Otherwise it was an ok place to spend a couple of nights.

Superb

No hot water in shower. No refrigerator in first room so we had to move. TV didn’t work. No other amenities in room. Poor maintenance outside. Breakfast ok.

Nasty

The Air conditioner didn’t work, there was a crack and bulge in the ceiling in the bathroom. The tv remote didn't have a back battery cover and several light bulbs were burned out

I don’t know if they have room cleaning some days That the only thing that i doesn’t see

The lamps in the room were not attached to the pipe in the wall and I was slightly shocked by the electrical cords.

Only issue was shower didn’t work in room 110
