Moxy Omaha Downtown

Noisiest hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying. The walls, paper thin, the cars going by and playing load music coupled with crowds on a Saturday night. The people in the hallways that act as if they are the only people in the hotel, talking as if they are on the production floor of a machine shop with ear plugs in their heads at 11:30 at night. The homless people yelling at each other at 3am. Fun, fun fun....but other than that it was great, good coffee in the morning, great staff.

This is a cool place. The lobby/bar/check-in area is hip and funky and inviting, no matter your age or any other demographic. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar is open until 2 a.m. (unusual for a hotel bar in these parts) and the kitchen is open all night with a limited but appealing menu. The room was on the small side but was ultra-modern and nice. Handy location in the heart of downtown’s Old Market district. Street construction makes access to the parking ramp a bit of a pain right now, but that’s temporary and it wasn’t a big deal.

Moxy Omaha is just a cool spot. The rooms are small and efficient with kind of a modern European vibe. The lobby was fun and hip. Good bar. Fun games. We had a great time.

The rooms are clean. The staff is amazing and helpful. It is a fun hotel with a lot of activities to do. Having the free welcome drink was really good. The gym is really nice and plenty of equipment.

We love Moxy hotels, and Moxy Omaha lived up to the expectations! Love the lobby bar filled with fun family friendly activities. Location near Old Market was perfect and staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

European style rooms, pretty small but doable. Amenities were convenient, they address common struggles with typical hotels. Example, they have a 'stash' cabinet in the hotel hallways with help yourself item such as towels that you typically have to beg the front desk for. Gaming area in the bar/check in area was fun. Great location for downtown exploring.

location The moxy is one of the poorest designed hotels I have stayed in--ever. It's as if Marriot sent out a bunch of young kids to design a hotel that could be as uncomfortable and "hip" as possible, and they certainly achieved their objective. The room is so small you have to step sideways between the bed and the bathroom wall, very little space at the foot of the bed, absolutely no horizontal surfaces to unpack a suitcase and lay out clothes, uncomfortable bed, sealed windows so no ventilation, noisy HVAC, crappy bathroom with stamped metal sink/vanity with a shelf right above the sink placed perfectly for you to bang your head, crappy lighting in bathroom and even worse lighting in the sleeping area....... Oh, the shower was OK. Common areas--glarey crappy track lighting that shines in your eyes, seemed like an intentional use of mis-matched color temperatures, all hard parallel surfaces so the lounge areas are very noisy and almost impossible to carry on a conversation over the music, breakfast servings that would be surpassed by most gas station convenience store.s..... HEY GREAT LOCATION IN OMAHA!!!

The lobby area is so fun, and the free drink tokens were a great surprise! All the staff were very friendly. The only downside was that the elevators were very loud all night. It seems to be more of a party hotel, so it was loud in the hallways even around 2-3am.

Jae was amazing at the front desk. Really made our trip wonderful!

Room was a little small, but worked for what it was designed for

I like the location of this hotel. It is downtown within easy walking distance of multiple shops, restaurants, and the park. It also feels very secure and is right next to a covered garage. Construction did make it hard to navigate when we first arrived. The staff were very helpful in giving parking directions.
