The property is beautiful . We enjoyed the pool and hotter/bath area. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We booked an upgraded ocean view room which I think was worth the additional price. The food at the buffet was ok but not worth the price.

Clean, comfortable bed, free upgrade, nice restaurant,friendly staff, nice kid playing room, we stuck in the hotel because of the typhoon but we didn’t got bored onsen needs to pay extra

Hotel Monterey is a really beautiful hotel right next to the beach which was a huge plus for us. Also, it was very easy to rent an umbrella and sun-beds which can be used during your whole stay as a hotel guest. The room was spacious with huge bed and windows overlooking the ocean. The bathroom was also great with great amenities available. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety of salty and sweet options. You could enjoy it by looking at the ocean as well. Nothing. Everything was great.

This is a beautiful resort right on Tiger Beach. We loved the location away from Naha, because it was the end of our Japan vacation and we knew we’d be tired of big cities. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms and gorgeous views. We would’ve liked more options a to grab quick snacks, or coffee and pastries for breakfast.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent We have to pay extra for car park and onsen. It was my 40th wedding anniversary which I had stated when I booked. However, there was no surprise for us. Not even a card of congratulations

The fact that I booked a room with carpark and spa access and they insisted that I didn't even though I was able to show proof of my payment and confirmation. They even told me to take it up with Booking.com which their reservation finally did and confirmed my booking was correct...the situation was resolved only 1 1/2 hrs later on my insistence which left me with a bad impression. However, they made up for the negative experience with my good experience for the 3 nights stay there.

Great property. Really liked getting a credit when we didn’t need our room changed. Great facilities and restaurants near by. Amazing staff. Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Buffet breakfast wasn’t quickly restocked each morning. Buffet at night was very expensive for lack of options. Great hotel though and some great food options around. Amazing staff

- The bed is so comfortable. - The room is big. - The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. - Service was good. - I booked the rooms for the 4th-11th floor, and I got the rooms on the 4th floor which was the lowest for this choice. I can’t really see the sea view which was very disappointed. - Plus, I got the rooms on the garden wing, so I had to walk quite far from the lobby to the rooms. - One of the parkings is right in front of the cemetery, which doesn’t really look like parking for guests.

We were here in late November and it was relatively quiet. Rooms were comfortable and clean with a lovely view of the ocean and the kids loved the play area! We liked the location too, as there were several restaurants close by for meals.

For hotel customer, beach side umbrella is charging, it's a bit strange. The sea swimming area is not so clean, with a lot of grass on the top of water.

The hotel was amazing actually, everything was very organized, the location was great, not too far from many attractions but still felt like a quiet place, breakfast was also very good with many options including okinawan cousine.The staff was also very kind. Parking was not difficult. There was always a space even if you arrived late at night. And the room was the best part for me, we took a very basic room, but it felt like a premium room, spacious, clean and with a great view. Loved that the floor had a tatami instead of a carpet, very neat and clean. I didn't like a few things, though. Except for the breakfast and outdoor pools, nothing is included. You have to pay extra fees for absolutely everything. They have a gym and an indoor pool, but you have to pay 1.500 yen per day to use it, i don't get it. Parking lot 500 yen per day as well... and the worst part for me is that you have to pay for using chairs at the beach and if you want reclining chairs at the pool also have to pay... Another thing is that sometimes breakfast gets crowded, so they have like a booking system, and sometimes the waiting line can be up to 30 min. So you better book as soon as you wake up.
