Good location between the main street and the monkey forest. Not too clean/modern, but that is allowable with the price. They seem to be nice people, but it was a weird experience. The guard dogs bark whenever someone is on the property, which is a curious feature for a hotel/homestay. The theoretically-relaxing massage parlour next door (and its customers) really should not stand for it. We were also told that one bites. I went to take a shower, only to find that there was no water, so I got dressed to find the staff, but nobody was around (except the barking dogs). Ended up having to go next door to the massage parlour to ask if they had any tips and they were able to call the staff, who were able to come back and fix it, although the water then took hours to heat. I then asked the staff member about breakfast because the only thing that I knew was that it was included, so I wanted to know when, what, where and so forth. She did not speak any English, so after much Google Translate back and forth, all that I was able to gather was that she would be back at eight o’clock the next morning with it. This did indeed happen and it turned out to be a plain pancake with sliced papaya and banana. We did not finish the pancake. I was excited to make coffee, but they provided only coffee sachets and no bottled water. The bed had only a single thin blanket that did not cover the bed.

The guest house is in a quiet street, just 5min walking to the Main Street. The family is really friendly, and the breakfast was good. I recommend 100%

The location is good and there is very good spa nearby. The host and the family member live in here as well, they are the most friendly persons that I have ever met. I knew I am the annoying one always asking for help. They provided simple breakfast everyday.I am very satisfied with staying there .

Very nice vibe and maintained environment. Has mosquito net

The garden and the dogs. The location was nice. WiFi is so slow. We did not get the clean towels except for one after 3 days so we need to ask for it. The staff was unexisting. Breakfast was only included when we asked about it. Bathroom was unclean without any supplies. Blankets were dirty. Coffee mugs in the room were dirty as well. Definitely would not recommend.

Humble People, great staff and clean rooms

Good air con, great having a fridge in our room. Hot shower but it takes time for the water to heat up. Breakfast was nice, omelette and fresh fruit. At night it was noisy with traffic and dogs barking even though it's not located on the main road. Also the bed was uncomfortable springs popping out

Balinese house Perfect experience in a traditional balinese house. Perfect location. Walking distance to many restaurants and to the center of Ubud. Hosts adorable. 3 dogs. Noisy. Jumping on you. One dog bit me. Young dogs always try to jump and bite.

Great location : not too far from the city center (within 10mn walk) but far enough from the hussle and bussle and honking. The whole guest house looks like an isolated nature village, very relaxing and close to a spa so you can hear the peaceful music. The room itself is quite spacious with a big comfy bed (even if mine made a bit of noise when moving), a bit dated but not a problem, and there's a nice balcony so you can chill outside. Overall a very nice stay in Ubud and great value for money. The curtains are not black out so light comes in in the morning, but wore a face mask so no problem The hot water takes a few minutes to come in, be patient

The location was good. The garden and sorrounding buildings were beautiful. The family and staff helpfull and nice. The aircon working. The mosquito net on the bed really necessary. The breakfast really tasty, specially the green pancakes. (The breakfast included was the only thing that made it a better relation value-price.) The fact that it had a safe box (tbox) in the bedroom. Well, I am not a cleaning freak, at all. But the bathroom was really bad. Specially the sink. It looked like it wasn't cleaned for about a month or more. Couldn't think of putting anything on it. So I had to go and buy cleaning products and scouring pads to clean it myself. Ended up cleaning the whole bathroom. Forgot to take pics before. But I have some after I cleaned. I left the cleaning products and the pads for them to see and use. The "kitchen" sink was bad as well. But I didn't clean, since I was not thinking of using it. And the fridge smelled really bad, like old rotten food. Didn't use it neither. The curtains under the "kitchen" sink could be changed, since I don't think washing would ever be enough. One of the bathroom windows lacked a mosquito net. So... No purpose in having any.

everything i would have liked only a sheet to cover not a blanket and the bed was a bit noisy when you move.
