I have stayed at Hotel Corso several times over many years. It never disappoints! Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and attractive hotel.

Centrally located within a short distance to the large square and church. Free covered parking. Room size small but adequate.

Staff very friendly. Right in town. Close to funicular and train station We weren’t told the mini bar was not complimentary so drank the water and a beer.

Very nice room. Lots of storage. Clean. Breakfast was one of the best in our three weeks in Italy. Our room faced the main street and it was noisy. Request a quieter room if noise is an issue.

Staff were friendly and helpful - rooms and lobby/common areas were very clean. Breakfast selection was incredible. Location is absolutely perfect for the city - about a 5 minute walk up the Main Street from the funicular - any more is too long to drag luggage, any less too far away from the center. Would absolutely choose this hotel again - wish we had more than 1 night in the city, it is absolutely charming and beautiful. Some fixtures and appliances were a bit dated - only reason for the 9/10. For the value it was far better than expected.

Excellent hotel right on the central street in town. Great bonus was parking in front of the hotel (limited number of parking lots, but right at the door. Night concierge was very helpful on the phone and processed ZTL right away late at night when we arrived. Great value during the soft beginning of the high season. We were able to leave the luggage and enjoy the walk in town in the morning before continuing on our way. Breakfast was typical Italian continental, but can be improved.

The entry was very inviting as was the greeting by host. The climb up the street should be clearly described.

We stayed at the Hotel Corso for just one night in Orvieto. Our room was beautiful and clean. The hotel is conveniently located right on the main Corso (walking street) of the town. The hotel was also very helpful with parking since we had a rental car. €12 for an overnight car park. The staff at the hotel was warm and helpful. The small breakfast room could use some updating to make it more cheery and welcoming.

In my room, there was a step up into the bathroom - which I forgot about in the middle of the night and ended up fracturing my foot. Totally not the hotel's fault, but if you're clumsy like me, make sure to ask for a room that has a flat entry bathroom :)

The hotel is a perfect location for access to the main streets of Orvieto, and also is close to the funicular. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay! I didn't see a list of restaurant recommendations. A printed list in the room or lobby would be a nice addition.

After arriving in Orvieto by train we took the funicular up the hill. It was a short walk uphill to the Hotel Corso. We liked everything about it, the hotel, the location and most of the staff was great.(see comment below) They had an Italian style breakfast that was good too. Our room was spacious and had a nice bathroom and light. We enjoyed sitting out on an adjoining lovely terrace that could be enjoyed by rooms on our floor. All of the staff was great except one who was working only one night that we were there. We asked how to put the heat on and was told no. Like maybe it was too early in the season for heat? But it got cold at night.. A few hours later when we returned it was even colder and we asked another person working and they simply hit a switch on an electrical box behind the desk and put the heat on. Other than that it was fine.

The elevator broke down after my first night and it was still not fixed when I left 3 days later. Difficult when you are a senior citizen.
