HOTEL GIALLETTI

The room telephone was not working, which forced me to go downstairs multiple times to communicate with the staff. The in-room safe also did not function properly and required three separate attempts before it was eventually fixed. Basic amenities were lacking. The soap in the room was almost empty upon arrival. The room was not properly prepared for three guests; there were only towels for one person. We had to go downstairs to request additional towels, and even then only one set was brought up, requiring yet another trip to resolve the issue. One of the room keys provided did not work, which again meant another trip to the front desk to have it corrected. In addition, a window in the room began to make clicking noises early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep. The hotel was also very noisy in the morning, as many truck drivers park and stay there and depart early, which added significantly to the disturbance. Breakfast was very limited and only met the bare minimum expectations. Overall, the stay did not meet basic standards of comfort or service. We will not return to this hotel and would not recommend it.

Breakfast was lovely. Owner's were amazing and went out of their way for us.

Location to highway was great A little pricey to some of the locations we were staying at during our trip.

Staff was helpful in helping us get to Orvieto’s highlights. The property is further away from Orvieto’s “action”. Will consider a closer property next visit.

Staff courteous and professional. Easy access and parking, right next to a service station to fill up your car to go. Breakfast was included and it was a copious and wonderful spread, the coffee is excellent. Italy and Europe have the habit of cutting off the air conditioning system, but have no fans and leaving window open is not always possible. Restful sleep is not possible unfortunately. The purpose of a hotel is to rest and sleep. Suggest you confirm if AC is on and functioning when confirming your booking, might need to choose your hotel wisely.

Property was clean and easy to access A few things that can be improved. The property is a bit run down, specifically the bathrooms. The beds are super hard and the pillows very thin. Breakfast was okeish, nothing special. I feel this place is targeting workers that are traveling and need a quick place to stay but not if you are on vacation and want a nicer looking place at the same price.

Nice comfortable rooms. Nice bathrooms. Good breakfast. Nice exercise equipment! All good. Location was fine, not spectacular, but safe and close to Orvieto.

Shower was small.

Breakfast is really good with a good selection of choices and staff very helpful. Rooms are fine but bathroom set up shower was very odd. Has a good space but the way the shower is fixed does not help. Air conditioner not working and the noise of train passing so close disturb your sleep even with the windows closed.

The Hotel Gialletti was a very comfortable hotel, easy to locate with a very friendly staff. It was a delightful start to our explore Italy trip. On site parking, great breakfast and air conditioning were exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed twice at this hotel with about 1 week in between. The dining staff were excellent and extremely pleasant and helpful. The beds we slept in were quite hard and it was difficult to get to sleep on them. The beds were hard
