Great location as a stop before Rome.
-
The property was very basic, as I expected. The people working at the hotel were extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to make my stay fabulous. Breakfast was delicious.

I liked the location close to the train station, hotel security and facilities. The staff was welcoming. The room was austere but functional. The bed was confortable, the bath/shower area was spacious with plenty of hot water and pressure. Included breakfast was a nice start of the day. The TV was old (but I did not visit Orvieto to watch TV!)

Overall atmosphere of the hotel and the shower

There's no heat regulation in the room, suspect wood fire furnace that operates when the owner chooses to feed the furnace. Wouldn't want to bet on the alleged air conditioner in the summer.

Breakfast was great.

Nice breakfast Room was dated and the wall unit for air conditioning was in bad shape. The gentleman who checked us in was not very friendly

Great owner of 50 years! Rooms were large with strong A/C and nice hot shower! Breakfast was fantastic! Free parking on the street out front. 7 mins drive up the hill to the main town was super easy. Best parking lot next to the Duomo is the "Campo Della Fiera" parking lot. 1 Euro per hr. Easy walk 200 meters to the Duomo and beautiful town. Eat dinner at Antico Bucchero. -

Very helpful front desk. It had an elevator, which really helps when you have lots of heavy luggage. Found parking just across the street. Lack of sidewalks made it a little difficult to walk to Funicolare, which was not working. We had to take the bus up and down. We could have driven to the spot to take the bus to Orvieto instead of walking. Loads of free parking. It’s very hot in June. Be prepared with summer dresses or shorts, sunscreen, sun hat, good walking shoes. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. Lots of choices and a great Cappuccino machine.

It was all nice. The staff was great.

Location was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was not like expected. May be it was a classical Italian one. I can not judge it properly

This is an old fashioned hotel exactly as I like it. When I arrived at night there was a fire burning in the stove. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and had everything I needed. Full bathroom and tv. Very good!

Clean & neat with great breakfast. Very convenient & nearby the cablecar to Orvieto town, local train station & the bus stop to Civita de Bagnorregio. Maybe the limited power plugs.

Although the hotel is not located in the historical city, it is close to the train station and the funicolare to the centro storico. Friendly staff. Limited breakfast included. Hotel is a bit dark and sober and the reception area sloppy. No real seperation with the restaurant area. Too expensive for what is offered.

Lovely staff. Fresh home cooked meals. The owners have run this old style but very homely hotel for many years and it shows in their smile and attentive service. Not much ?
