This was my first time using a sento, and I quickly came to love getting a hot bath each night. Check in was quick and efficient. Internet connection was great. The bathrooms were slow to be cleaned. Usually this was not a problem. Being used to desert and tropical temperature I wasn't so used to the cold, and I wasn't sure if the heater was on or off.

Rest rooms and wash room system is very bad.

For its price, you cant complain if you just need a roof over your head for a night or two. You get your own little room with an electrical outlet and a tv. Its right off the main subway line in Osaka as well and there is plenty to do nearby. The staff are nice enough as well. The place is not that clean - the rooms smelled of cigarettes, and we saw mold and bugs. The facilities are quite poor as well, there was no soap or towels in the bathroom, and the bath was in need of some repairs. They give you a futon mattress, and while it was okay for me, some might find it a bit too thin. The provided pillow was also a bead pillow.

While the bath was communal, it was refreshing to be able to dip in like an onsen. The bath made up for everything else. It would be good for the bath times to be clarified between males and females even after normal bath hours so no one has to be locked out. There is a lift to get one up the floors. There is a microwave and hot water for meals available. There was only one working WC (not washlet) on the floor, there are labels stating that the two urinals and other WC is down. This is happening for many floors as well. There is the Ammonia smell in the toilets too.

Given the price, the size and state of the facilities were acceptable. The provided linen and sheets seemed to be clean. The smell was horrible, the walls in the small rooms are soaked by cigarette smell. Non working dirty facilities.

The only thing that's good, is that it was very cheap. The toilets of a club are better than this

Always my go to place for Osaka.

Have my own room. Close to market & metro line. No soap to wash hand after using toilet, the toilet reek. No cup or paper towel at the microwave statiion. The wall paper peel off & smell of cigarette. The whole place need pressure washing, fresh paint (I'm surprised it passed health inspection). Doesn't let us borrow bicycle. I'm staying in Kyoto guest house, they provide soap & tissues in bathroom (the bathroom was remodel so it's very modern, clean) tea/coffee & kitchenware like airb&b.

One of my favorite Japan stays, honestly deserves a higher rating, it's exactly what you think it is and that is why I love it. Basic no frills and incredibly cheap for the location. On site onsen, and others walking distance, plus some amazing eats and right on public transit. Amazing hosts and could not ask for more. Don't understand the negative reviews here, stayed here twice, and it is my go to spot for Osaka every time.

Location is good with easy access to shopping & food The whole place is dark and looks old. The male toilet on 6th floor was old and not clean with smell. The urinary bowls were blocked up and couldn't be used.

My corner room was quiet, WIFI OK, no curfew, futon on tatami, AC, TV. A bit larger room than the simpler ones of Diamond in neighboring street. The hotel had had better times, modest, but still ok. The bathroom is sentou type, with time window for men and women, one has to be careful not to miss it. The desk is not always manned, onlu during checkout (till 930) and early evening hours. All OK.

good location. opposite Raizan South hotel only 1 toilet can be used out of 2. toilet door can not be locked. dirty, hotel corridors is dim, scary, very bad experience. worst hotel in my life after travel around more than 40 countries. see my pictures and understand my encounter. the pool room is tear down, very unsafe for lady to use. i loves sock in hot water but not dare in this hotel.

I like that this was a Great price a the staff let me check in early. The bathrooms really smelled bad. I stayed here before and it was ok but this time every bathroom stunk.
