Convenient location, secure floors. I was pretty comfortable with the safety of my items in the lockers and was satisfied with the safety of the ladies floor. The lack of air conditioning in the individual capsule was a bummer, especially since my stay was during the summer time. It made it difficult to sleep comfortably with the privacy shade pulled down. I didn't actually mind the noise of the AC fan inside the capsule, it just didn't do much. Next time I will have to try sleeping with my head on the other side of the capsule because it was much cooler in the hallway.

I didn’t like how the capsules didn’t have AC. I would NOT recommend staying here in the summer time unless they get the AC dialed in. Also, think you should rip the tv out and put permanent shelves in the tv station area. Need additional hook to hang things. Other than that it is very clean and super nice employees.

It was very noisy during sleep time and a lot of traffic. Like hearing people coming at 1, 2, 3, …am Curfew hours during sleep hours

this was my first time staying at a capsule hotel, so i came in with open expectations. Y's Cabin Osaka was a very nice experience. If you are travelling alone, and just need a place to crash, this is the perfect place. They have all the necessities. You can leave your luggage with them before checking in, and then after while you go out sightseeing. The baths are public, so need to be prepared for that. The sleeping space is big enough, even has a TV. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is very near Dotonbori and the nightlife, subway entrance just a few steps away. Would surely book again when I go to Osaka I guess the same for all capsule hotels, everything is DIY.. some guests can be messy.. the luggage space can get crowded. the sleeping spaces are not as quiet. Once you have these expectations accepted, the stay will be pleasant
-
location and staff was generally nice the infrastructure is waaaaay to small for the amount of guests around. I couldn't even have my bag around because it was super full already
-
Great value and location, the staff were helpful and while it was a lot of people, I never felt crowded. No complaints
-
Closeness to the lively and popular area of Namba. Having a well-supplied and clean kitchen area available (microwave, cooking area, ice-machine etc) was a real bonus. Quiet and respectful sleeping area. Laundry facilities. Mattresses were thinner than expected. I would have liked the choice of a private stand-up shower room, instead of just the onsen shower/prep area. Having an ‘up-steps’ sleeping capsule, where the single mattress took up the whole space, made it challenging to organize/reorganize my stuff/backpack.
-
The capsule was quite warm, and the luggage / locker area was a bit cramped so it made it a bit tricky to organize suitcases. It was not a big deal though; for the price, it is worth it! It felt very safe, and there are multiple lockers if you are worried about valuables in your suitcase in the common area.
-
Nothing, just maybe only 4 sinks in the lavatory get a bit crowded in the morning
-
Great location. Friendly staff. Professional and caring. Awesome place.
-
The beds. I dont know if the mattress was too thin but it was painful. I could feel the hard surface underneath directly. It hurt my hips to lay on my side and my back. Which overall, was difficult to sleep.
-
In the night on the road there are some drunken people.
-
I had an allergic reaction from insect bites and had to go to another hostel
-
Nice location, very clean, would come back.
-
Price and convenience are what I like most.
-
Great location, complete facilities, clean and staffs are really helpful
-
The capsule is a little bigger than other capsule hotel. And it is not hot inside the capsule. The location is ideal for tourist spots and shopping. None
-
Location, onsern, clean. One elevator

It’s close to AirPort Express convenient for early departures. 1) someone went thru my pockets and took Y2000 when I went to take a bath. Was gone for a total of 20m. I reported to staff. They said you could report to police but usually nothing will come of it. It’s not a big deal since it’s not a lot of money but that’s the quality of patrons they receive so to each their own. Other than that, the 3rd floor men’s cabin smells of soured milk and dirty socks. The air is poor and it is very hot inside the capsule until about 2am. The bath is not clean. It has pebbles and sand in the bath. There’s also a guy shaving his head and trimming his beard clogging up the floor drains. Again they don’t choose their customers but it’s just unreal. The neighborhood is what it is. Tourist traps and throngs of prey. If you like a busy mall slash clubby atmosphere, touts and opportunists giving you unwanted attention and think this is Osaka, this fits the bill. If you’re after a much better value in a more neighborhoody area, head north a station to Hotel Cargo. It’s cheaper, immaculate facilities, larger and cleaner bath area, with capsule twice the size and much cleaner. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

Staff wasn't very friendly and courteous. It could be juts a cultural difference between America and Japan but we experienced much more courteous service in other parts of Japan.
