Breakfast was all asian food The room was very small. The TV set was in very bad position right next to the bed. I have to twist myself to watch TV. The chair to sit on is not comfortable at all. I hurt my back from twisting.

The hotel was a short walk from Osaka's Dotonbori, so that was very convenient. Lots of food options and access to the Osaka-Namba station. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. The entire staff was very professional and of the highest quality. The front desk was very helpful with my check-in that I even signed up for their rewards program. After my brief stay, I will definitely look to book with this chain for future travels. There was also a laundry area in the lobby that we had access to. Very convenient when you're packing light and can wash to re-wear outfits. Overall a great experience with this chain and hotel in particular. Next time I'm in Osaka, I likely will stay here again.

We checked in last April 17, the staff at the counter was not helpful when I asked if she can help me call the nearest Rimowa shop so I can asked if they can repair my luggage on the spot at Takeshimiya mall. But she told me to just email ny request. I also asked if I can used any landline phone so I can call the shop, but she said no phone available. The female staff on duty when I checked in.

The overall experience was very welcoming, from the friendly staff to the well-maintained facilities. The breakfast was diverse, and I especially appreciated the opportunity to experience a traditional Japanese breakfast. Not to mention, I felt truly heartened witnessing an American staff member (I believe from Boston). He made an effort to assist many non-Asian guests, kindly sharing his tips and recommendations on places to visit and experiences not to miss. It was such a thoughtful and genuine gesture—he could easily be the mascot of the hotel :) The overall lighting could feel more welcoming with warmer tones instead of white lighting, which currently feels a bit clinical and cold. Improving the coffee would also be a nice bonus.

Location, breakfast and room Breakfast(taste good)is always the same

Ii looks like a a well established chain of the hotels which apparently follows standards. They allow to check in only after 15:00, although we were with a small kid and asked if they could find a room. They didn’t, although in other hotels in Japan they allowed to check in earlier. It’s not a biggie as they have written the rules when you book. But if would be a bit flexible for families with kids/elderly ppl, it might help imho

Best Stay near Namba station.....delicious hot breakfast where the menu changes everyday and the items were yummy. Room was small ( as expected in Japan) but very comfortable to stay with all the facilities provided. Smooth check-in and check-out.

It's in a great location and great price

Love the free breakfast and the location. Didn’t like their luggage storage system. It was complicated and was not able to accommodate me in a way id like, but it’s ok

I stayed at Toyoko Inn Osaka Namba as a solo traveler, and it was a very comfortable and practical choice for my trip. One of the things I appreciated the most was the privacy. Compared to capsule hotels, having my own room made a huge difference. I didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone, and I could freely move around, organize my things, or even leave my shopping bags on the side when I got tired—something that’s not really possible in shared spaces. It made the stay feel much more relaxed and personal. I wasn’t able to try their breakfast since I woke up late, but the rest of the experience made up for it. The location is also very convenient, with several convenience stores like Lawson, 7-Eleven, and FamilyMart nearby, making it easy to grab food or essentials anytime. One thing to note is that breakfast is only available until 9:00 AM, and the check-out time is at 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, I woke up late during my stay, so I wasn’t able to try the breakfast and had to focus on preparing for departure instead.

Very near to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Walking distant to Namba Station and Yasaka Jinja. The Japanese style breakfast is nice. The construction site in front of the hotel, not a big deal but would be better after it completed.

Great stay

Location, firm bed. Rooms could be a bit bigger, no room for suitcase to be open. Taxis have a hard time finding it-nearby construction doesn't help.
