Shin-Imamiya Hotel

Even though the train is in the area is still a little further from the hotel you'll have to walk especially if you have two cases or bags. Because I was being stalked there the entire time I had to get the police involved but they didn't want to pull the cameras and I checked out the next day but I endured a lot of harassment mainly from Japanese people who were very inappropriate the entire time. After I left out of my hostel to get my bags together because I was rushed out a couple of minutes after check out which is at 11:00 a.m. I went to the hallway to get my suitcases together and the guy from the desk came upstairs threatened me to hurry up or I would be charged extra even though I wasn't in the room and I told him to please leave me alone and after telling him to leave me alone so many times he decided to then leave after he got in my face in called me the B**** word! Please stay away from this place! This area is full of homeless ppl! Men sleeping under bridges near! Stay away!

I had to get the police involved because there was several women there stalking me and being inappropriate towards me and harassing me for my time there the staff was very disrespectful and it was a disappointing experience and I was rushed to check out! as well I was harassed to check out or I will have to pay extra fee and it was only 2 minutes after check it out, there is a lot of homeless people in this area this is not a good place for solo traveling for females, the grocery store down the street is full of angry elderly people so I wouldn't suggest going there to get food. This place has a dark atmosphere I wouldn't suggest ever staying here please stay somewhere else. The women in the staff were both bullies and I felt like they were attacking me because I was a black woman the only one in the atmosphere but still and yet please do not stay here. I had to go across the street to try to get the police to pull the CCtv cameras to show that I was being stalked here at this location in harassed by several individuals but they refuse to pull the tapes and I checked out the next day please don't stay here this can be a safety risk as a tourist.

The location is perfect just beside the metro station It doesn’t have a shower room in each floor but what can i complain on the price i paid that so cheap

We got the room with a slide panel door instead of normal door due to that, smokes from cigarettes lingers in our room. and we are the only female on a male floor. Please arrange according to gender only despite of the check-in timing.

They have semi private room for solo traveler Location is good though a bit different from Shinsaibashi or Namba areas. Very near train station to/from airport. Near Shinsekai. Property is a bit old. Need remodeling/renovation. No bidet in toilet. Scary men’s toilet in the 3rd floor where my room is located. So I have to use other men’s toilet on the other floor level. Single capsule room I had was non-smoking but smell a bit stinky.

The location is great and near public transport. The floors are not completed, no noise canceling measures, very loud as floor is all open space rooftop (can hear all the other rooms).

It was so so comfortable. I think with this cheap price, it was expected to have that kind a condition. Shower rooms were dirty all time and it was a bit noisy. I used the single bed capsule. But, location was so great.

The location is great and the staff are wonderful. The beds are very fun and retro. The doors to the rooms do not go all the way to the ceiling so you hear everything. It’s not the hotels fault, but many of the guests would come in very late at night and shout in the hallways so sleep was virtually impossible. The bathrooms smelled like cigarettes.

The mattress is not comfortable at all

Was cheap and staff were nice. stayed in a pod room, so wasn't expecting much. But the door to the room does not reach the ceiling all the way, so you can hear a lot of whats going on outside. Also no aircon, so it was really hot and humid while I was there.

Since I have not tried capsule room. I thought I will try one. Which came with no Air conditioner the room neither had air flow. The restrooms were not clean , no proper water supply nothing. The hotel is really worst.

We slept well but the room was really small and the mattress was thin, not good for a couple. The smell in the floor we slept was full of cigarettes. The toilet and the bathroom not in the same floor that you sleep in. Horrible dryer. Lobi looks amazing,the floors above are pretty bad ? good location.we wont be back.

Close to the Shin-Imamiya station and straightly go to here from the airport WiFi didn’t work at some rooms. Disgusting

Good price and excellent location! Mattress of bed could be a bit thicker, but overall good stay!

I liked the location. It was close to all the major spots and convenience stores. The small room. It was like a small box, I had little room to turn especially In the bathroom.

Good location, cheap stay Hotel lobby was very nice looking, however, the rooms were definitely not of the same standard and could have used a bit of love
