Rooms where dirty that I had to book at a different hotel

The items provided were really good and the coffee provided tasted great. I loved that they provided real dishes. The dining area was clean and charming. It was a little humid in the room and the air conditioner was weak. But for the fact that we only stayed in the hotel for a few hours a day to sleep everything else was great

The staff was quite friendly and understanding. I found the hotel to be quite horrid overall. There was an unfresh smell in in the breakfast area/front desk. Do note that the following account is from a smoking room, as others might not be this bad. My room was what completely broke this deal for me. The nauseating smell of smoke and nicotine hung thick in the room. Asking for some air freshener and opening the window didn't help at all. The carpet was also burned in several locations. The bed was freshly made and looked really clean, so that's a plus. I checked out after half an hour, as any longer would make me physically unwell.
