Kemnater Hof Apartments

I booked this hotel because this is the only option in the region but I will avoid doing this next time. I booked a deluxe double room (30% more expensive) but there was no difference to the standard room. The rooms are not cleaned and for five days the garbage bin was overflowing, toilet paper was finished. There is no cooker neither glasses or tea cups. Stinking coridor.

The hotel room was extremely dirty, and the very bad smell was very, very disturbing.

We are completely disappointed with this hotel. I don't understand why I paid 95€ per night!? A room like when we were students in the 1970s: sordid and minimalist. No possibility to have breakfast. In the room there is a kind of cupboard as a kitchenette, but which can be opened in exchange for €50. The elevator is scary, but there is a poster on the door that says that despite this appearance "it has a soul". An unpleasant smell in the room and in 3 days no one even picked up the trash. And last but not least, the hotel's reception is open only between 8-13. The hotel is only suitable for companies that hire workers in the area and has a contract with them I guess. Location is very far away from Stuttgart city. Nothing is available in room i.e., Coffee kettle, bath towels were not sufficient, room was not cleaned daily.

The room is OK, but nothing extraordinary. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is a bit outdated, however still fully functional. I really disliked that I was offered 20 EUR reimbursement for giving them exceptional (10) score in this review which the property does not deserve. Seriously?

Hotel was the only one near where I had to be the next morning. Greeted by an overly full parking lot, no human contact at check in and cabbage smell throughout the Hotel as people cooking in their rooms. Rooms tired and unloved.

The location is with access to main road , in nature , the room was clean and spacious , same the bathroom. Breakfast was good and fresh. No store or restaurant close by , you need to walk or drive to the next village.

The location suited our needs as it was in walking distance from our destination. The room had a balcony with a nice view. The contactless check in worked for us but it seemed odd to still get an old-style key with a huge aluminium key ring just like in the 1980´s. When making the reservation this did not seem like an issue but next time I will make sure to reserve a hotel with a 24/7 staffed reception. The bathroom was in need of renovation. Breakfast was acceptable but overpriced.
