Good value with breakfast It’s not close from trains

Convenient location with many food shops nearby. Purpose of my visit was for a meeting at the prefectural office which is only 10 minutes away. Probably more to see but this time it was more touch and go. Parking was limited to small vehicles.

Toyoko Inns are great for budget travel and having breakfast in the morning. Very comfortable in general, centrally located near trains, and good amenities. There was a strange vibration in the room as if the building was using a very strong generator. I say this because I used to live in a building in Dhaka, Bangladesh and we had one that would turn on for short intervals and the building would vibrate with it. I could not figure out where it came from-turned off all electronics, checked the elevator, turned off bathroom fan... but it never turned off and I did not sleep as well.

Everything was good. Nice room with sensible amenities. Good breakfast. Efficient, helpful staff. There’s a supermarket around the corner - very convenient. I would like to stay here again when I return to Otsu. Nothing to dislike.

There is a good standard to providing service and everything I needed for a good night's rest was provided. Breakfast was adequate and there are many food options near the hotel. There is also a good sized supermarket just round the corner. Breakfast is a little chaotic - come after 7.30am when most of the working crowd and those going on tours had left.

The hotel is at a strategic location. Not far from the train station and easy to find food around

The location is good : 7mins away from Otsu station, which is itself 10mins away from Kyoto Station The staff was very kind and helpful Big room & clean The breakfast choice was very limited and had no sweet option. Curry at breakfast is not possible for me so I skipped it. A bit sad that there wasn't a pyjama given with the room. The bed wasn't so comfortable, only one small pillow.

The check-in and check-out system was automated and efficient. The TV set in the guestroom was excellent. You can watch even BS programs. The WiFi connectivity was also good. There were few or no restaurants and bars around the hotel available in the nighttime. Almost all of the stores in the nearest shopping street were closed. The breakfast venue in the hotel was not so large enough for all of the guests eating breakfast to eat comfortably. When it was crowded, I couldn't even move through the tables in the dining room because others' chairs were getting in the way.
