Very close to Otsu station so super easy to get into Kyoto. It smelt like smoke everywhere. Even if you were far from the smoking room.

I also liked the area near the lake and it's 15 minutes away from Kyoto by the train.

The light control panel started buzzing in the middle of the night, not loudly, but it's impossible to sleep if you're sensitive to sounds.

I like everything about the Calendar Hotel. Attention to every detail is excellent. The staff is attentive and professional while giving a warm smile or kind word. No complaints.

The bathroom sometimes has smoke odor, even though the rooms are non-smoking. It’s probably because the air system is shared with the smoking area.

The bathroom and toilet room was smelling bad with cigarettes because the smoking room was right next to it. The locker room was really smelly with the disgusting foot odor.

Quiet and comfortable. Location is at JR train station. They also serves great lunch and dinner. Locker is way too small.

The staff was very friendly; when I asked to change my bed from the top to the bottom, they did so cordially. And above all. It's close to a train station for travelling to Kyoto. They have washer and dryer machine. The only thing I found difficult was that all the suitcases were left in one room, both men's and women's, which was a bit uncomfortable. However, when I needed to take out my clothes, I took the suitcase to the women's area. That was the only uncomfortable thing,
