Road to the hotel blocked for an event on both ends of the road. It was a rainy night and very difficult to navigate to get to the hotel. Unable to contact or get somebody to pick up the phone and instruct me on how to get into the property.

Beautiful old hotel.Perfect location.However...they need to steam their mattresses because I am convinced they are full of bed bugs I think there there is a bed bug problem. I had so many insect bites ,which I experienced 24 hrs later and still am.I have been bitten all over my body

Loved this hotel and it was not first time there.Everything beautiful and smart

Good option if you like historical hotels with a nod to the past. General good value for money. Reception was helpful in booking for us at the Cango Caves.

Very comfortable

When we made the booking it included breakfast but when we checked in the receptionist said it does not. I really did not have energy to fight for that.

The building is a beautiful old colonial hotel which has been beautifully maintained. The room was comfortable, and the staff were kind, polite and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. It's on the main street, but the noise wasn't too bothersome. BEWARE: the car park at the rear of the hotel is not manned, and our car had its petrol tank siphoned during the night. Had it not been for this, our stay would have been great.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. No hairdryer or bar fridge in the room. We were in the front of the hotel and there was a lot of street noise. The hotel looks very tired …. Marks on lift walls etc…

Actually a very nice hotel that could be excellent with attention to a few points: Rooms are comfortable with good beds but those carpets …. Interior charming but changing the lightbulbs in the corridors and breakfast room from cold white to warm white would make a huge difference Service at breakfast, while friendly, is a bit haphazard… needs managerial supervision
