An incredible 2 night Family Stay in Oudtshoorn. The host Didi was amazing, allowing us to check in at 13:00 after a long drive with our kids from Plettenberg Bay. She was also kind enough to share information a discount vouchers for tourist attractions in the area. The apartment was well equipped and very aesthetically pleasing. The grounds & gardens were always spotless. Beds were very comfortable. The only downside was the shower cubicle that leaked water from the sides following a shower, wetting the entire bathroom floor.

Didi is a friendly host with a little gem of a property. The self catering units is tastefully decorated, clean and fully equiped with everything that you need. We enjoyed our stay as a group of friends and would visit again ❤️

Wow! The Featherbed exceeded our expectations by far. Stay here when you visit Outshoorn! OK, the room was great, the terrace was lovely, safe parking, ... but the owner Didi was amazing! We felt so welcomed, the whole property was spotless. The included breakfast was so delicious, unfortunately we only had two nights. We loved the fact that we could enjoy the aircon and the pool in the heat. It was very, very satisfying. The calming feeling of the whole place made our stay so much better after 2 full days of sports. The fact that the kids could make friends with some of the people that also stayed there and could enjoy the pool table and we did not have to worry. Everything was amazing

Featherbed provided a fantastic 2 bedroom self-catering unit (breakfast optional) in central oudtshoorn. We bought and cooked our first ever ostrich egg (24 chicken eggs) and made scrambled egg using the kitchen. One of several independent cottages on site, it caters to families and tour groups alike. Our kiddo loved the pool, and we braaied karoo lamb at the lapa. Despite the intense temperatures, we woke up to rain (the first time since November 2024). Easy access to: Safari Ostrich Farm Ostrich Emporium Cango Caves Ostrich eggs and ostrich steaks Smitswinkel Although their was aircon in the unit, it would have been superb to have aircon in each of the bedrooms

Awesome location and studio, very clean and modern. Air con helps a lot with shaded parking Sadly the lounger was broken and the hot fire jacuzzi was dirty with some algae

Exceptional

The host was exceptional and willing to cater to your every need. The chalet/unit we stayed in was clean and well looked after. The staff maintained and cleaned the grounds and the pool area every day we were there. There is wifi throughout and DSTV in every unit. It's coveniently located just outside of the town centre but within walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars and other amenities. Local attractions are only a few minutes drive away. It is in a secure complex so you feel safe at all times and don't need to worry about you or your car. Would definitely stay there again if we're in the area. No shaded parking for cars on the chalet side.
