The staff were very professional and helpful. The location is also spot on and it’s excellent value for money. It’s hard to beat this price for such a convenient area. The facilities and comfort were a bit underwhelming. The place needs a more thorough clean and the rooms could definitely be updated to feel more comfortable. It’s a bit basic once you’re inside

Location, peaceful, weaver birds, chickens and donkeys' brays. and the Host very friendly. Toilets are far...problem in the middle of the night go out and pee.

This is the perfect spot for an overnight or maybe up to 3 nights. We used the location to see sites during the day and returned for the evenings to wash up and enjoy a braai under the night sky. The grounds gave me piece of mind as it was fully enclosed and my kids could wonder round with ease. The kitchen and facilities where clean and adequate with all the needed amenities in place. We stayed in the two stationary caravans and at night you get the feel of Glamping in the out doors. Id defiantly recommend the site at the recommended price it was well worth the stay Nothing to mention

The fact that there was just no place to put my clothes or belongings like a cabinet maybe in the room and also there are no surfaces in the bathroom , I had to put my clothes on the floor outside the shower. I did try to hang it on the hooks provided on inside of the door but it got wet.

Very nice place. Not luxury, but the best for stay after a long trip.

I couldn't turn of the light in the cabin. Had to hide behind a pillow for some darkness.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to have a lte check out. The Place is nice, the facilities as well. A bit far from the city center, but the place is quite and safe. There was a strange smell in my room.

We were there for the Cango Caves Marathon and only stayed for one night. Arrived at about 7:30pm, and we were well received by the host (Andre). He texted us before our trip to verify our check-in time and kept in contact with us throughout the day. His overall level of service, including the comprehensiveness of his information, is top class ?? . The place was good value in that it was cosy, quaint, and secure. The usuall facilities that are at a backpackers were there. Everything worked as it should - although the beds were sort of hard. (This is relative to what we have at home) Just a side note though, we didn't stay long enough to provide a fair review. But the place itself and for our stay, no matter how short, was generally good.

Love the backpackers. My second stay with them. We got spoiled with a energade in our rooms. Andre is the best host. I will support this backpackers every time i am in oudtshoorn.

We had a great little cabin, with it's own braii. The location is surprisingly rural, with weaver birds nesting just outside our room. The cabin needs a fan, but the owners say they are addressing the problem.

Price Water facility,check-in to check out water was cold. Wifi was poor,we were told to only use it for whatsapp and did not work.I wish guests could be considerate of others as well,what you wouldn't do in your house don't do it in public space,we woke up with a dirty toilet worst part those were sharing showers and toilets.
