There is no better location in pacific grove. You can walk to lovers point and walk to cannery row. The view is amazing. Staff is very helpful. Each room is unique and one must pick the right room. We were in cottage and there was a partial view of ocean. It’s towards the back of the building on first floor.

Room was clean and staff were very nice. I’m afraid that’s the only positive thing about this hotel. It was really run down and is stuck in the 70s. Old fashioned furniture and threadbare carpets. The “amazing” breakfast was just average. To make matters worse we didn’t know it was “car week”. Which explains the reason for over $700 per night. We have travelled all over the world and I must say this is the worse hotel we’ve every stayed in

Perfect location for a Monterey getaway! Loved the charm of the property and the views are hard to beat. Super walkable location (walk to the aquarium, Pacific Grove, etc.) which made exploring easy. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Would recommend!

The room was so cute! You can light the fire place and it makes the room so romantic! Breakfast with an ocean view was the best! Custom breakfast every morning was so delicious. Has a wonderful library, game room and FABULOUS outdoor patio. Very convenient to have a parking area even thought it is first come first serve but still worth it to arrive a little early durning the busy seasons so you won’t have to worry about finding parking by the ocean. Staff were so kind and helpful! Hotel is so close to lovers point, downtown and all main attractions that we walked everywhere from the hotel! Will definitely be coming back 10/10 hotel and service!

A friend of mine and I zipped over to Monterey for a quick weekend trip. We decided to stay at the Martine Inn after looking at the photos online. We both love old Victorian style bed-and-breakfast, and this one did not disappoint! I could just feel the history in this dwelling! Not to mention, I thoroughly enjoyed all the antiques, the views, and the breakfasts! I will be taking my husband back there in the near future for a getaway!

Room was clean and staff was great. The breakfast is a selling point of this place sit down breakfast with ocean views. You can litterly walk across the street to the beach. Loved that there was amenities like the pool table but all the pool sticks were broken besides one and table was ripped up just needs to be updated. Parking is very small but there is street parking. Overall a good stay in a good location.

This is a 127 year old mansion. Beautifully restored. Things were different back then. You get to enjoy what things were like then before all the technology entered the scene. No TV in the rooms which was a nice change and an incredable coastal walk moments away from the property.,..quiet, peaceful, and great physical exercise. We got to know some of the local sea gulls who visited our windows at the Parque suite. Just a great experience!

The room was beautiful. The staff was phenomenal; very friendly and welcoming! The only downfalls were no fridge in the room and no TV. I was only there to sleep, but a TV would have been nice. If you’re mobility challenged, you might want to consider somewhere else. It is not very handicapped accessible.
