Very pretty setting, classy room, great buffet breakfast, walking distance to Paestum museum and archeological site, private parking, swimming pool. Walls are very thin. One can hear neighbor’s snoring and showers

The grounds and buildings were gorgeous, staff professional and very kind, location was steps away from an array of restaurants and the archeological sites and museum. The breakfast was extensive and luscious. The pools were in a fruit tree orchard and many private sitting areas under grape vines arbors. It is definitely THE place to stay in Paestum. Elevator only goes to the first floor and there are stairs to the second floor. The front desk had our luggage sent up to our room, so there was no issue for us.

The elegant yet relaxed design of the hotel was just what we needed after battling big city traffic. The staff immediately welcomed us and made us a reservation at an amazing restaurant just down the street. We didn’t want to leave!!

We liked so much our stay at this place. The hotel is a well renovated location (with such an interesting history) with a large space outside, a beautiful garden full of blooming roses and many other flowers. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and also a good size bathroom. The room had a small balcony from which it was possible to see amazing sunsets. Great advantage is that it is close not only to the Archeological Park of Paestum but also to many restaurants, all in a few minute walking distance, therefore no need to take the car. The staff was simply amazing, everybody was very kind, giving the best suggestions of places to visit around and also explaining how the property changed throughout the years during the restoration... We fell in love with this place!!! Nothing

Perfect location to walk to the Paestum archeological site, close to a row of charming restaurants, with free parking within the property gate, and an outstanding breakfast. My room was in the upper dormitory floor, and while I didn’t mind the absence of an elevator, I was awakened each of the two mornings I was there by the pigeons nesting in the corner of the roof. They made quiet a ruckus. I’d encourage the property to try to pigeon-proof the roof near these rooms.

Everything about this hotel was great! Lovely old buildings that have been beautifully renovated. Loved the pool and gardens. Lots of restaurants to choose from that a re e walking distance. You can walk to the Archeological Park as well. Highly recommend

Beautifully renovated property, steps from the best restaurants in Paestum and easily walkable to the temples. Everything on this side of town is wonderful.

Our stay was excellent, the staff was very friendly and inviting. We enjoyed breakfast and a drink in the evening very much. Nothing in particular.
-
Beautiful garden. Good breakfast. Only 3 hangers in the closet. We could have used more.

This house itself was an experience, looked expensive and was a bit expensive. nice design, friendly welcome. plenty of parking space, some expensive restaurants in short distance

It was perfect. The breakfast was exceptional, and the location was ideal. The staff went above and beyond our expectations orienting us to Paestum, and helping with dinner reservations in the off-season. We were sorry to leave.

The grounds are beautiful and close to Paestum archaeological park. The breakfast was nice and concierge was super helpful and friendly. A very nice room as well.

Only stayed one night, but loved everything about this old property. The seclusion and the pools were a welcome relief after a few go-go days on the Amalfi Coast. Unfortunately the in-house restaurant was closed on the day of our stay, but there were good restaurants down the road. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable, though it took us a few minutes to sort through the huge number of switches and what they do…this just seems to be a thing with all Italian hotel rooms. That, and not enough hooks to hang things on. Felt a little nickel-and-dimed with the pool towel surcharge.

room is not soundproof from hallway noise and other rooms

Everything about the property was excellent. The rooms were a good size, the grounds were beautiful and the staff was helpful. No complaints.

Great location with easy walk to the historic monuments. Very nice lobby and room. Fab breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, nuts, etc available. Wanted to eat everything. Just goes to show that you don't need to have a huge variety to serve a great breakfast. So many hotels put out loads of dried out cakes and stale products, but nothing that you want to eat. Room was smaller than expected. Pool, sauna, Jacuzzi were not ready for use by customers. Perhaps why the rates were so reasonable. Wasn't a big problem though.
