Funny hostel if you want to meet people before joining any of the party activities around Pai like the Tipsy Tubing (the truck comes to the hostel to pick you up). The hostel is nice, with cabanas like houses, garden and swimming pool. It’s located a little far away from the main streets of Pai. The rooms are packed with the beds and guests belongings left on the floor, with barely space to move or go to the toilet.

About how it’s quiet at sleeping time and also, the rooms are located very cute . It’s a lot different with Chiang Mai & Bkk’s Mad monkey. And stuff are really nice . Also Lucy is like a social butterfly, very opening and nicest person (even for a Non-Westerner like me )I’ve met at the hostel . All good

The best thing was Daniel, his manager. He found a solution for every requierement and made us felt like in home. Also the girl in the front desk was very helpful and gave us really good service.

Staff at front desk,the entire team at Mad Monkey. Special mention,the manager of the property who is always interacting with guests. Cleanliness at the property. The balcony/sit out in each block of rooms. The location. A short walk to the main centre, but preferred the quite in the property. Recomend the half day trip organised by the hostel,if you don't want to rent a bike. Reasonably priced. Pai bus station walkable distance. Would recommend and visit again. Small rooms were congested. Need more showers and toilets. The ones available are shared between two dorms. Could be 16 beds and just 3 showers. No hot water available except one working. Muddy water in the taps. Needs maintenance jobs, like the bathroom doors couldn't be locked, door handles coming off. Towels weren't provided on the day of arrival. Take care of the above and you'll be the best.

Staffs were cool and friendly. The pool is under construction which leads to some noise in the morning since my room was next to the pool.
