The environment and pictures are true , refreshing outside The staff would clean up not empty my dustbins The bathroom is not well levelled , water remains back after shower, the restaurant has cats very disturbing during eating, they should do something about it. Very good resort for a low price. The staff was magnificent. So friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. And the cleaning was the best i ever seen. And i have stayed at numerous resorts, hotels and Airbnb:s in all continents.

Very nice and modern hotel with all facilities. Friendly and professional staff. The food was good and varied regularly. Great location in Paje and beach front. Electricity shut down very often, even if only for a few minutes. Maybe a better generator should be installed.

There were numerous continuous power cuts throughout the day - sometimes up to 15 in one day. We also had an issue where the management confirmed we could refund an extra day we had added due to flight changes but then had to cancel due to further flight changes - but when we tried to do this, they then denied they’d said we could do that.

What I likes about the hotel was the fact that hotel is close to the beach… In the room you can find comfortable bed , TV and specious shower and you can enjoy a lot of nice activities during the day and night - organised by great animation team - JUNIOR AND SHABBY are doing an amazing job !!!! Staff are friendly but not all of them and you can enjoy drinks and cocktails if you have all inclusive option available. Music around the hotel for sure improve the vibe!! You can enjoy the view as the ocean looks incredible!!!!! It was my second time in Zanzibar and Paje definitely ticked the box. If you are looking more for quiet place you should choose Kiwengwa or Matemwe. Firstly I didn’t like the fact that for the 5 star hotel the food was poor. I am a vegetarian and almost every day I had to eat pizza as mostly salad was with meat , fish and sea food. Not enough fruits for breakfast. The choice of food in general is not too good and I hope they will improve that in the future . Another thing is that at the property we can see a lot of animals - which is perfectly fine for me as they don’t bother me but staff were rude to them and didn’t allow us to feed them or give them water which in this condition is not humane!! If you like to have animals around please allow people to take care of them. They don’t do anything bad to anyone so we should treat them with respect and kindness. We experience the day where members of staff were throwing stones at them!!! Thirdly- builders and maintenance team who was doing some work were very loud during the day so you can hear a lot of noise.

The kindness of the entire SBH Monica staff. Always helpful and always willing to assist. Facilities are extremely good. Food (breakfast and dinner) was also very good, tasty and well presented. The access to the hotel is not clean and easy. Actually it is pretty difficult to find out hotel main entrance.

Good location just south of Paje, so you can walk to nice restaurants and coffee places nearby. Big and comfortable bed and good AC. Fresh water everyday. Clearly rushed to open, lots of unfinished items, from plastering of the walls to doors poorly closing. Shower provides minimal (30 liter) hot water, that’s not enough. Noise in room from doors ‘slamming’ nearby. This hotel is focused on Polish all inclusive customers so it’s buffet food that leaves much to be desired for. Breakfast is decent but we were very disappointed with the dinner so we changed our half board to breakfast only (thank you). The drinks are very pricey compared to the Zanzibar price level. There’s a ‘disco’ every evening giving noise in the rooms. We were happy to leave.

Location, spacious rooms, price. All meals were low quality esp the breakfast. The staff is not knowledgeable at all, despite being friendly they were very slow and non effective. Pool is not up to 5 star hotel standards. Very frequent power cuts and low water pressure in the shower.

Clean, modern and not overly crowded / large Not a property issue but the beach ‘boys’/ locals - I know it’s an issue in Zanzibar but as a solo woman I don’t like being harrassed when walking from hotel beach into the sea - they did get the hint quickly though
