The cottage is a bit rustic, but clean and spacious with hot showers and air conditioning. It is in a garden setting with lots of birds to watch and within walking distance of a local food market plus several restaurants.

The location is very good- both quiet and convenient. It's an easy walk to restaurants, bank machine and market. The whole resort seemed a bit tired. The room was cleaned, but the bathroom tiles and shower curtain had permanent stains and the towels were grey. The bed and pillows were hard.

Khao Yai Cottage is conveniently located near Khao Yai National park, and is about 30 mins from Pak Chong train station. The property manager was lovely, and was able to accommodate a late check-in and arranged transport for us from the train station to the property (not that easy late at night in Pak Chong). They also allowed us to store our luggage while we did an all-day tour at the National Park. The offered breakfast was convenient and nice (fried or scrambled eggs, toast, spreads, juice, etc). The room was huge, the surrounding greenery was beautiful, and drinking water was provided. AC worked well and was quiet. The room could have been cleaner - bedding had some stains (though had clearly been washed), there were some hairs in the bathroom including on the toilet seat, and the bathroom grout has seen better days. That said, it was clear the room had been cleaned before our arrival and in general cleanliness was adequate though not perfect. We arrived at the property relatively late (around 11pm), and to cool off the room prior to our arrival the glass door had been left open (there is a screen). However, the screen isn't perfectly sealed so there were some bugs in the room (mosquitoes and ants), though not so many that it really disturbed our stay. The set up of the room was a bit odd. It's huge, but the bed is right up next to the couch and then there's a big empty space in the middle of the room, and only one table is provided to keep your things. The fridge in the room was also a bit loud, though didn't keep us up. The biggest issue we had was that the lock on the door to our room was super finicky and it was really challenging to get it to lock, both from the inside and the outside.

Great breakfast, beautiful grounds and within walking distance of the 7-Eleven. The shower curtain had black mold all across the bottom. We asked to have it changed or cleaned. The room was cleaned the next day but the shower curtain looked exactly the same with dozens of black mold spots. Gross!

It is a simple hotel, but good enough for me. Breakfasts very little, but good. Friendly staff. Garden with some birds. Not far from national park

Beautiful grounds and lovely spacious room with a fridge. Water provided daily. Great location within two min walk of 7-11 and eating places, but quiet. Good breakfasts. Everything was pretty good. Wifi could have been stronger in the unit we were in, and the shower was just warm enough, but the goods definitely outweighed these minor inconveniences.

Good breakfast! Close to the National Park. Comfortable bed. Cleaness of the restroom Insect in the room.

The room was large, facing a quiet garden. The hotel is a bit away from the main road, which makes it feel very relaxing. Around the corner there are a few local restaurants and a supermarket to stock up on snacks. The breakfast was good enough/basic with eggs, bread, yam, fruit and instant coffee - self serve. The owner was very friendly, and helped us move our luggage to a different hotel in Kao Yai. The hot water didn't work in our room, but they offered us to shower in the room next to us.
