B&B Ballarattik

Our host Rosario made sure that we were comfortable, provided useful information about enjoying the historical city center, and engaged us in timely conversation. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful, as are views. Great location relative to the stazione centrale and for visiting many of the historical sites on foot. We liked being adjacent to the Ballerò market. Lots of nice restaurants nearby; Rosario has a list of faves.

Convenient location to train state and city center. The main market was right there. A lovely breakfast was served on the outdoor terrace. Very helpful host and one of our best lodging in all of Sicily. Nothing.

Beautiful patio Terrace overlooking the city. I enjoyed each moment and took extra time soaking up the view. Very nice optional terrace breakfast 10€ Location directly in the heart of Palermo's Mercato Ballarò district Plus everything's at your fingertips, but a lot of activity and background noise. However, if you want to feel the city a good place to be. Wish it had a mini Fridge like most locations. Outside / Inside building main door access, bit dark and raw. Something to lighten up the area from the building management would be good.

The B&B is situated in the heart of Ballaro Market, but once you step through the door, you enter a different world. Clean and spacious apartment on the top floor, with all amenities. Great views from the windows and balcony. Breakfast on an open terrace with a view of the city roofs was a special treat. Very welcoming host. Air conditioning works well and cools the apartment in just 10 minutes.

Nice clean room with fabulous view over Palermo rooftops. We loved the Loo with a View! And the bustling market below. Rosario our host was very chatty and gave us loads of tips for seeing the city in the short time we had. Really close (7 mins) to the main station in Palermo, and central to all tourist areas. Keep an open mind on arrival, the front door is at one end of the Balero market and not too easy to find. The apartment is through a winding corridor and up 6 flights- Use the elevator for an added experience of post-war engineering! There were an eclectic mix of characters hanging around but actually we found Palermo to be safe and really easy to navigate on foot.

We loved it here. The view from the balcony is the best view in town. We spent mornings and evenings here rather than out. The host made us feel right at home.

Amazing views over Palermo, a lovely sunny, clean, comfortable and large room with balcony. Coffee/breakfast with a view was fantastic and incredibly kind and helpful hosting! Great location too, right above the market and close to main streets Nothing - perfect! Only thing is can be difficult to find when arriving, but once you spot the sign on the door it's all clear

Everything about the property was perfect for our stay: great location, super clean and very comfortable beds. Our host Rosario was so kind and helpful. Overall, this was the perfect place to stay to fully experience Palermo, 10/10!

The location was fantastic. Less than ten mins walk from main train station and smack bang in the middle of a super atmospheric street market and right beside a major restaurant and bar street, just great. Major sights all in walking distance and the apartment itself was great . Very clean, very comfortable bed. Amazing value. What more could you want. The hosts who are lovely live right next door so any issues they are readily available. I highly recommend it No issues whatsoever.

Great place to stay in Palermo, very central and close to everything. Just a few minutes walk to the train and bus station, and pretty much every attraction is close and within walking range. Even the Capuchin catacombs (about 30 min walk away). My room (number 4) was beautiful with a modern bathroom (with lovely tiles) and a fantastic view! The view from this place is fantastic in general! Amazing seeing the city and marked below wake up every morning when eating breakfast on the balcony and during sunset when the sky explodes in a million different colors. I had breakfast included and it was great with lots of different items. I especially loved the cornetto with pistachio. Rosario is a great host that takes good care of his guests. I wouldnt hesitate to come back when I return to Palermo. A bit cold this time of year, but the a/c in the room warms everything up quickly.

Very nice host, good room, nice bathroom but the best was the big balcony with grate wiew? A bit noicy from outside during night

People on the streets yelling late into the night on both days we stayed. Not the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind.

The pleasant house and our great hosts, the colorful neighborhood with the fantastic market, the inspiring view...The strange fireworks announcing unknown events, the ancient but well functionning elevator. Nothing

A wonderful attic with a balcony showing an astonishing view of Palermo. Rosario e Caterina were very kind, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the city and Sicily in general. The room with the private bathroom was big, clean and well designed. everything was stylistically coherent and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and we can't wait to go back! Ballarattik will surely be our choice for every next travel to Palermo, thank you so much!

Great room with amazing views of the City in the middle of the daily Market,close to all..

The views from the shared terrace and our sea view room were AMAZING! My 83-year old mother loved it and now wants to go back to Palermo for longer! Spacious & spotlessly clean room w/ piping hot water in the shower. The most delicious pistachio cream coronetti for breakfast. Perfect location right above the market just a few blocks from the train station. Rosario is very interesting and knowledgeable and a very kind host. Wish we could have stayed longer!
