The room was beautiful, but did have a weird stench

Great location
-
It was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff amazing abs very attentive. Nothing we didn’t like

We were there only for one night and did not have a chance to enjoy breakfast. We enjoyed the hotel location, and it was comfortable and well appointed. We particularly appreciated the gentleman who helped with our luggage (we arrived early, before our room was ready) and our rental car. I am sorry we did not get his name. HE WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY HELPFUL!

Can't think of a thing.

Amazing location, very nice room, still super quiet considering the area

We stayed here twice during our trip in Sicily. Great location, with a quaint rooftop bar. The staff was friendly and very welcoming.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, close to many of Palermo's sights and only 3 blocks from a Hop-on, Hop- off Bus stop ( stop #1, Red Line). Very cool and modern ambiance in the lobby (most of the ground floor) and breakfast room/bar/restaurant occupying most of the 8th (top) floor. Friendly and helpful staff. First, the parking garage, an almost essential amenity when staying at Plaza Opera in Palermo, is only provided "as available" with a very limited number of parking spots. Further, the hotel parking is provided in a garage across the street and the guest is expected to self park in the underground facility with narrow passageways and very tight corners, with only one entrance/exit, forcing one of the vehicles, when going opposite directions, to back up into any available space, to clear the path. Second, the breakfast room (in am)/bar-restaurant (in pm) is woefully small for the number of potential guests - we were asked to make a reservation for breakfast to ensure we had a seat. There are additional tables outside on the terrace, which are probably the best seats in the house in the tourist season, are not appropriate in the fall or winter due to less than comfortable temperature, wind conditions and/or precipitation. Finally, although a desk was provided in the sleeping room, the lighting was inadequate for working at the desk - there were no overhead lights nor any desktop lamps.

We loved the room and the view, the suite was fantastic! My only negative comments pertain to a guest with unpleasant habits at the breakfast buffet and the size of the elevator.

Close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Shower was a little small.
-
Not worth the money. Parking is impossible, rooms aren’t very clean and super tiny. Location isn’t the best either.
-
Roof top restaurant & bar is very nice Lot of noise in the hallways , the cleaning staff talk very loud ion the morning

Superb

Good location and easy to get to the old Town. Also close to the bus stop for the Airport Shuttle. Very loud when trying to sleep. The windows do very little to block the sounds from the street.

the location was perfect, just next the Politeama Concert Hall. Amazing. Guests slamming doors late at night isn't the hotel's fault—just inconsiderate behaviour from fellow guests.

The single room was excellent. A very good bed of perhaps 125 cm wide. A usable desk. High quality materials used to make it, like the drawers and the wardrobe. Bathroom fine. Everything very clean and maintained daily. Stuff in the fridge. Lovely space. Breakfast with real scrambles eggs, not the powdery based omelet most western hotels provide. Some cold cooked fresh vegetables also at breakfast for your vitamines. In a rooftop veranda. Helpful, if sometimes very busy, breakfast staff. Very good price. The walk of 1,5 to 2 km to the old centre is what sets the fair roomprice. But it's a nice walk along streets with 19th century or older history. The reception staff was less helpful sometimes. They were not able or willing to give a good suggestion for a restaurant at a minute or two walk away after you have returned from a full day of walking. They do exist though. Uber works fine in Palermo, but you have to walk to a square nearby to be picked up. The reception was vague about that too. I missed a bar in the hotel or simply some drinks in the lobby. Staff sometimes forgets to lower the shades a bit at breakfast and then it gets unpleasantly warm.

Great location - simple but clean room. Great gym, nicely decorated, very present and together staff. Need a desk lamp and airco was very weak

This was definitely not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The staff was poorly trained. Firstly, while I was showering I realized that the shampoo bottle was completely empty so I had to get out of the shower and call reception to bring shampoo. Instead of coming to the room and apologizing, the receptionist asked me if I could come down to get the shampoo while I was dripping wet and in my towel. It was quite surprising to me a “4 star hotel” could forget to refill or check the shampoo. Then, on the day of check out before check out time, a man walked into our room with a drill to fix something without even knocking. Quite surprising. Finally, we left our luggage with the receptionist after check out to explore the city. Upon our return, we noticed our luggage had been left in the middle of the lobby, obviously visible from the outside, easy for someone to walk away with our luggage. The service was extremely disappointing. Definitely not worth paying for this hotel.
