Centrally-located and good value for money. Located on the Via Maqueda, so very lively but a bit noisy.

The position Nothing

Location was fantastic. The room was small but clean There was no mention of it being in the second floor with stairs . For older people- it is so hard to get up and down the stairs with luggage. There was a non functioning elevator which obviously was of no help for us. We should be informed of this. I have a heart condition and I had to stop in between stairs just to collect myself. I consider it a health hazard. For this reason, I don’t recommend it.

The room was very cold. The bed coverlet was dirty, the floor was cold because its made of stone.The pillow was dirty. There was a hair inside the pillow. There is no elevator we had to carry to the second floore our heavy luggages

It was slow season - November and Andrea our host treated us to coffee and croisants across street which had a lovely sidewalk scene. Wish we had access to their elevator.

The location was excellent for the nearby scenic activities. The room was excellent! Wonderful to stay in a historical, beautifully craft room. The host was very gracious and helpful.

Great location for seeing the sights in Palermo. Room was comfortable. Host was fantastic with quick communication and instructions. Right across from a delicious pizza place and Bakery. Elevator didn't work.

Exceptional

Great location close to all the main sights. Clean, spacious room with everything you need for a short break. Some reviews talk of noise at night but this was fine with window closed. Prior to arrival we had no specific info about check in and were not expecting it, presuming someone would be at reception. On arrival at Palermo airport I briefly went on airport WiFi and noted several messages with various instructions on how to self check-in and enter building etc. I couldn't download videos with instructions as WiFi not good enough. Had to pay for my own data to be able to access info. We arrived late evening in dark so this was concerning as we struggled to gain entry to building. On receiving the keys inside we then went out to eat, on return realising front door key did not work. We gained entry from another resident. If he had not arrived we would have been stuck outside again late in the night. The key situation was finally resolved on the second day when new locks were fitted. Although when messaging owner about this and also arranging car parking a response came quickly, this was often abrupt and quite rude. We had to leave early and were not informed about paying tourist tax on arrival. The owner then messaged frequently demanding swift payment through PayPal which was fine but as we had to wait for available WiFi we were chased in the meanwhile. Breakfast had a good choice of food however coffee was very disappointing for Italy! One cup offered, from a machine and very little taste.

Good location, very nice host, very clean. The breakfast was simple, but it was nice to have one (compared to other BnBs without breakfast at all, which became the usual in Palermo). The bed was a bit too hard.

Very affordable B&B right in the city centre of Palermo. Very nice and clean room and bathroom. Also the shared room with other people staying in the B&B if you want to have a drink, chat or read something. On Sundays there is no breakfast but you get a voucher to get a breakfast in a nearby bar. Good explanation of the "self check-in" procedure to get inside the building with a key. Very noisy at night as there are many bars around. All communication with the owner goes via Whatsapp, no personal approach.

The location is right in the middle of the centre of Palermo. Perfect! The room & bathroom were spacious and clean. The beds were very hard. Not comfortable at all.

Perfect location, directly in the heart of Palermo. Good price and nice host! First a little communication problem, but we solved it in a very good way.

A very good location and a good service

Staying at the apartment was a wonderful experience. The host was amazing and very kind, even providing us with an umbrella for shade. He was always ready to help and offer advice. The apartment is artistically decorated and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. If we return, we will definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect, and we were very satisfied with our stay. It was exactly as it should be.
