Hosts were nice, room was clean and comfortable. It is right in the middle of the city. Communication was poor to non-existent before check-in.. My check-in was never confirmed on Booking so I reached out to them and they replied that everything is ok. They never contacted me after that, I reached the booking and the door was closed. They forgot to send me check-in instructions. I called the booking and they helped me check-in. It is not nice to have these issues.. especially after more than 12 hours of travelling

The location is great – very close to the main sights like the Cathedral and Via Maqueda, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There are also a few small shops right in front of the apartment, which was very convenient. The place itself was spacious enough and had a lovely little terrace. It was clean and the WiFi worked well. Maria was extremely kind and helpful, even though communication was a bit challenging since she doesn’t speak English. There were a few things we didn’t really enjoy. First, the shower drain was extremely slow – after a quick 7-minute shower, it took almost an hour for the water to fully drain. Not ideal. The breakfast (croissants) was tasty, but it would be great to have a savory option or something a bit healthier for those who prefer that. Also, be prepared for a climb – there's no elevator, and the stairs are very steep with a narrow passage. You can manage your luggage, but... good luck (and maybe hit the gym a few times before your trip). The main bed was actually very comfortable, but unfortunately, my friend who slept on the extra bed didn’t have the same experience. It wasn’t very comfortable, and she didn’t sleep that well. So if you're counting on that extra bed for a good night's sleep, keep that in mind. The biggest issue for us was being charged double the city tax. We booked the apartment back in February when the city tax was €2 per person per night. Upon arrival, we were told it’s now €4 – supposedly starting July 1st – and we were charged €36 instead of €18. While it’s understandable that prices can change, this increase was apparently decided in April, and no one informed us in advance. Whether it’s the host’s or Booking’s responsibility, someone definitely dropped the ball here. A simple message or update would’ve been appreciated – especially when it means paying twice as much as expected.

Great place to stay in the city center, quiet area and yet very close to the main attractions. Very friendly receptionist, who brought us fresh croissants and made us coffee every morning. We can recommend for short trips!

The lady is very nice, she try that the guest will be happy. Although she doesn't speak English, but she handles Google translate well, so there is no problem. We were able to solve the key collection and entry on the first day even without a personal meeting. When we got in touch, I got a great tip for getting from the airport to Palermo. Thank you forever for this!!! The bed was great for me, I love the firm mattress. The hostel is a few minutes' walk from the city, but it is a quiet and very pleasant place. In the near have a public laundry(1 corner, 3 minits) it is very good I tried it. From the appartment 50 meter is good food places. I only had a problem with one thing, the stairs. Many people wrote in the comments that the staircase is narrow. This is unfortunately true. Very narrow!! So the big suitcase are not the best choice. Unfortunately, I arrived with a big one, but in the end I could carry up it with a bit of a struggle. My advice: small suitcases or a sports bag. Unfortunately, this is a local characteristic, many staircases are so narrow...

I really liked the size of our room! It was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable! Each morning our person that served us breakfast was so happy. She spoke no English but used a translator. She was great! I wished the property had an elevator. Two flights with luggage was tough!

The location of the inn was convenient and the facilities were comfortable. However, it was quite difficult to find a place. Also, I think it's related to air conditioning, but I was worried about the sound. For breakfast, the pistachio-flavored croissant was delicious.

Big comfortable bed. Air con was effective. Excellent location for central Palermo, close to main roads for food. Staff were helpful, and gave good recommendations for food (you must go to I Segreti del Chiostro for sweet treats!) Nothing to complain about

Very nice talk with Antonio ? We loved the fresh Croissants, Joghurts and coffee! Air condition very efficient. Location is great. 3 days/ 2 nights: shower door rusted at the bottom, towels not changed, waste basket not emptied, floor dirty, facilities ok (functional), but no charm... Environment concept is nice but only half way.

The woman was so kind and funny! She didn't know English but we laugh really much and she tried to help us many times! And I really liked the coffee! The shower don't work good at all and the bed for the kid is not comfortable.
