The host Maria is fantastic - communication prior to check in and help to book our taxi when we left. Location is also perfect, just off the main strip. Breakfast had all the essentials.

Perfect location

Location is exceptional, on a side street off the main avenue. Close to Teatro Massimo, Unesco sites, cafes, restaurants and shopping, all within walking distance. Rooms are quiet, well appointed and maintained, very clean. Beds/pillows are very comfortable. Breakfasts had a variety of items (pastries, meats, cheeses, sandwiches) and Maria is wonderfully helpful, cheery and gave great recommendations for things to do. Felt very safe. Bus stations are nearby. There is a TV in the room with Italian stations, iron, refrigerator, desk and happily lots of hangers. Room and bathroom was spacious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Due Passe Suites! Cannot think of anything.

Our hostess Maria Rita was the best. She was easy to message via WhatsApp and was very quick to clarify slightly confusing directions to enter the building. Once we were able to get in and managed to get to our floor via a small double-door elevator, the room was pristine and comfortable. There was a nice simple breakfast served by two ladies who were very accommodating. Maria Rita even gave us a card for a discount at a nearby restaurant. She was right; the food was outstanding. The front door from the street isn't always unlocked, which can be daunting upon arrival. Maria Rita has an arrangement with a neighbor to open up, but he only speaks Italian which can be problematic. . We were upset at first, exhausted after many hours of travel, but understood later that the inn is a small family owned business doing their very best for their guests and the owners can't be present at all times.

Great location. Modern rooms. Instructions to get into the building then into the room were a bit challenging at first but okay after you got used to the key situation. The beds were a bit hard.

The suites are very well located in Politeama a great area. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. Breakfast was simple but enabled us to have an early start each day for sightseeing. Easy walk to all the main sights. The suites are good value for a budget hotel. The lift is old fashioned but no issues and good for luggage. There was nothing we didn't like. Occasional bathroom smell but not unusual in an old building. For the price the rooms are fine and the location great. Make sure you know how to get to the hotel if coming by taxi as ours sent us walking in the wrong direction but Google maps sorted us out.
