As a solo traveler, the location felt safe and was walkable to restaurants and other important city locations. The host/staff made me feel like I made a friend in the city. She gave me good recommendations for places to eat and checked to see if everything was okay. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was Great.

This property has real character. Steeped in history. Really felt at home and comfy. Paola is very warm, welcoming and helpful host. I felt like I had a real Palermo Italian experience. Definitely gets 10/10 from me.

Every time I arrived back here I felt calm, so much love and care has been put into this space. It’s very special, such a gorgeous place to stay. Thank you to Paola & her son for being so accommodating.

Excellent location. Very clean room. The hostess was very friendly. -

Lovely old world decor. Availability of kitchen. Location Very dark- not enough lighting. Air conditioning set at minimum. Too many flights up to room.

We adored Paula's beautiful bed and breakfast, filled with her artwork, antiques and charm, it was like staying in a bijou palazzo. The room stayed cool with air con even in extremely hot sicilian weather and was decorated with charm. Paula was very friendly, accommodating and even brought us croissants one morning. Thank you Paula for the wonderful stay in Palermo, we hope to come again!

This was such a find! Paula's beautiful apartment is spectacular, and it felt like a real privilege to stay there. Fantastic location. Everywhere very easy to get to. Paula is a gracious host and I would highly recommend staying here.

The host Sig.ra Paola is very friendly and helpful . The apartment is a really gem, very particular, yet cozy. The location is great ,close to everything, you can visit the historical centre and marina area by foot.

Spacious room, availability of a common kitchen, good taste everywhere in the room and the place in general. Hostess was very helpful and connective.

The location was great. Breakfast wasn't included but everymorning we were given croissants. We loved being able to use the kitchen and lounge- it felt very homely. We felt comfortable and relaxed. I wish I could have spoken more Italian so I could have spoken to Paola more!

It really was an authentic Italian apartment. The STAIRS. With luggage, it was a grueling 5 "American" flights of STAIRS! The street noise was impossible, even with a white noise machine we brought with us!

The property is located within an easy stroll to the train station and close also to the shopping areas. Lovely restaurants and cafes are close by. Our kindly host offered us the use of a private guests kitchen which was well equipped and included a bottle of prosecco in the fridge, Her home is laden with magnificent family treasures and was so authentic and gorgeous it was being used by a film crew on our second day.It was a privilege to stay here. A little difficult to find as there is no obvious sign of the accommodation at the beautiful old doorway...but a bell to ring was all that was required and that was perfect. The walk up two flights of stairs may be difficult for some with a heavy bag?...but that was told to us when we booked.

So much nicer than a soulless hotel. Somebody’s house that they have renovated and furnished with eclectic pieces and love. Use of a well equipped kitchen was a bonus. I thought that breakfast might have been provided.

Lovely host. Fantastic decor. I preferred the second room red room? Calm, quiet, charming, romantic. Ideal. It was like staying in our own appartment. The coffee machine. I just dont like capsule coffee.
-
lovely, old apartment with original artwork and interesting photography on the walls. We were supposed to stay only two nights but changed it to three and host was able to accommodate that. We were in the host son’s bedroom which was not as quirky and interesting as the rest of the house. It was a little cramped and was not what we were expecting. I think this was because we were staying a extra day. The plumbing was quite noisy in this part of the house which was a pity.

We had a beautiful large room (suite) in a beautiful large apartment adorned by the owner’s wonderful art, set in a great location in Palermo’s historical centre. No great problem for us, but not everyone will enjoy walking up 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment . (Wide marble staircase).

Charming traditional longstanding family home with lovely furnishings and artistic touches in a 17 C Palazzo. Access to large dining and sitting room. Paid parking conveniently nearby.
